Unlike the Steam version, the console version of Easy Red 2 requires further testing and approval from the manufacturers of the specific consoles in order to release a new update, therefore the
Steam version can be updated much more quickly and frequently than the console version.

To be able to play in crossplay with the console version, a Steam version of the game was created which is updated with the same frequency as the console version.

In this guide we explain how to access the crossplay version of Easy Red 2 on Steam.

To access the crossplay version of the game, all you need to do is

• Open your Steam library.
  
• Right click on Easy Red 2.
  
• Choose "properties".
  
• Go to the "BETA" tab.
  
• In the "Beta Participation" section choose "Universal Console Crossplay Compatibility".

Note: With this option, the game will receive updates more slowly to keep up with the console version.

Note: From this menu it is also possible to choose the "Public Beta" version, which on the contrary does not guarantee crossplay compatibility and instead receives updates more quickly to carry out tests with the community of work in progress features. This version is not particularly stable so it is recommended to use it only if you are curious to see the content in development.
