N&W Y3a Pack

Since OygnusOX released his N&W Y6a & Y6b, and his USRA 2-8-8-2 Mallet, i figured why not make a N&W Y3a, so i did.




History
The Y3a's are group of 2-8-8-2 Mallets built by ALCO between 1919 & 1923 for the Norfolk & Western Railway, the Y3a's are copies of the USRA 2-8-8-2, the only difference between a Y3a & a USRA 2-8-8-2's is that the Y3a had different changes and few modifications, The Y3a's are use to pull Freight Trains much of their career, but later in their lifes, N&W would sold few of their Y3a's to Union Pacific, Pennsylvania Railroad, Virginian Railways, & ATSF, PRR will reclassified their Y3a's into HH1's, the Y3a's will continue to serve N&W, UP, ATSF, PRR, & Virginian until they were retired between 1958 & 1959, only one have been saved, No. 2050 had been sat in storage until 1970 when it was purchased by the Illinois Railway Museum, and as of today 2050 is still remains on static display at the Illinois Railway Museum.
