Welcome! It is the most meaningful and helpful original guide for Stick Fight The Game. There you can learn great base to play better, than others.

A couple of information in this guide can repits sometimes. Its made by reason for fullness of every section.

Sometimes I can update this guide. Then I will post mentions of new things in "0.2. Updates" section and change data in guide name, for your comfort.

I will be glad to correction of translation and any game tips in the comments.

1.1. Controls and Settings
Recommended binds for keyboard
• Up - W / Space (Not the best choice)
• Left - A
• Right - S
• Down - D
• Hit - Left mouse button
• Block - Right mouse button
• Throw - F / Mouse extra button (Not the best choice) / Second bind on Right mouse button (Not the best choice)

Settings
• Turn on "Show wins" in "Game options"
• Turn off "Auto pickup" in "Game options"
• Set "Screen shaking" value to 0 in "Options"
• Optionally you can turn off chat in "Game options"

FPS
• 60 fps - Recommended vallue for everyone.
You can instant shoot perfectly in mouse direction right after getting gun. And you can hard-click a couple of guns. Throwing without problems.
• 120+ fps - Recommended vallue for advanced players with theyre own play style.
Worse throwing - you can just drop gun under your face sometimes. You cant normally hard-click a couple of guns and cant instantly shoot in mouse direction. Better melee. Better movement. Better bullet blocking.

Host/Non-Host
• Host dont have ping with his own lobby, it means he can instantly get a gun and have no issues with maps. Host some worse in melee, than any non-host. Sometimes host dont see bullets or throwes guns by other players.
• Non-host have opposite to host characteristics

For new players I recommend to play on theyre own host, for learn game basics without ping issues.

HP as game modes:
100 hp - Classic fast rounds for skill check.
200 hp - Some longer rounds, forgiving mistakes.
300 hp - Long battle for fun.

1.2. For nerds
Some outher things can affect your gameplay:
• Your game equipment. Mechanical keyboard better, than membrane, but usually higher and this affect to wearness of your hand. Any "Gamer" mouse better, because they have metallic stands and more comfortable for hand. Mousepad slows down your reaction. Broad screen have some more fov.
• Your connection. Bad or unstable connection can make host/non-host issues more influential. Time when you play with unstable connection also affects your ping, at night ping would be below.
• Music.
• Your satiety. If you too hungry or full of food, you cant play your maximum.
• Your sleeping. To play your maximum you should to get enough sleep.
• Litteraly your temperature. Dont use conditioner while playing. Wear not warm but closed clothers.
2.1. Advanced movement
Moving:
• Simple moving


• Attacking while moving


Attention! Dont waste block charge. Block doesnt make you faster on straight line, but can give you speed boost for jumping or rebound.

Jumping:
• Simple jump


• Double jump (Atack up)


• Triple jump: (Atack up + Block)


• Rebound: (Triple/Double jump on the wall, and triple/double jump out of the wall)

2.2. Blocking, HP management and other
About block
• Your block have limited charge, which runs out after ~1,5 second and full recharging for ~3 second
• Block works only when it blinks white, not for all block charge
• Block blinks 3 times and no more before next using, even charge isnt empty. Remaining charge affects only on size of blinking arc
• Spamming can make your block infinite with smallest arc. For successful spam you should click not too slow and not too fast, otherwise your block wouldnt be infinite.
• Ping really hard affects on blocking.

How to block
• Dont spam block in melee
• Adapt to enemys rhythm
• To block closely-grouped bullets just use your block, when bullets already flew 2/3 of way
• To block elongated bullet shot, jump opposite bullet trajectory and use block. This way you can block all the bullets during a short block blinking
• To block stream of bullets spam your block

Other protection
Sometimes you can run from the enemy. This can give you a chance to get advantage.
How to dodge throwed guns:
• Jump or hug the ground
• Throw gun to throwed gun
• You can stop throwed gun, if you will lucky touch them while flying.
• Granades, snakes, thruster rockers and time bubbles can stop throwed gun.

HP Managment
• 100 hp = 5 hand hits
• Throwing = 3 hand hits
• Any damage to head = x2
• Any damage to neck = x1.5
• Damage characteristics of guns in section "3. Weapon tier list".
With this information you can determine hp count of players.
2.3. Fight
Melee
Main melee features
• Melee plays better with 120+ fps
• Melee damage dont multiplies by head or neck hit.
• Host some worse in melee (This is most noticeable with unstable connection.)
• For you block have more priority, than hit.
• Thoughtless hitting spam can be effective only with hight ping.
• If you will hit enemy inside and to opposite side of his block arc, it will be unblockable.
• If you was blocked, depart as fast as possible, use simple rebounds.

Tactics
You should to combine all of these tactics for different situations.
• Hitting the enemy from below. Can help you to hit enemy safely a couple of times, but puts you at not profitable position.
• Hitting the enemy from height. More difficult, than hitting from below, but don't puts you at not profitable position.
• Combination of hits to head and to legs. High risk of being blocked, but better, than hitting to the center of block.
• Hits behind the back. Fast, effective, gives you advantage and allows to easily block disoriented enemy. You should to jump through the enemy and start hitting him from 60 degrees from the ground. More effective with rebound, which gives speed boost.
• Rebound hitting. Combination of rebounds and attacking. Not always effective, but can disorientate enemy.
• Block bait. Depart, and after some time turn to oposite direction and block the enemy who was trying to catch you.

Melee weapons features
• Sword and spear easily bounse from the walls.
• Spear effective pushes away the enemy.
• With sword or spear and with 120+ fps, you can semi-fly by combination of attacks and throwing.
• You can block melee weapons.

Range weapons
Main range weapons features
• You can use Shotguns, Miniguns and Deagle to fly.
• Drop and get your gun back, to reload it.
• You can jump with certain rhythm for compensate recoil of some guns and shoot more accurately.
• You can hard-click revolver and deagle, right after getting gun with 60 fps. By same mechanic you can instant shoot perfectly in mouse direction right after getting any gun.
• You can make shot and throw gun in same moment.

Throwing
Main throwing features
• With more big weapon, more easily to hit enemy by throwing.
• If throwed gun started spinning, it can dont deal damage.
• Throwed gun can instantly dissapear for every player.
• With 120+ fps you can just drop the gun under your face, when you will try to throw it.
• Throwing moves you forward a little.
• When you steps back and throws the gun at the same time, you reduce the chance of it spinning.

Stream
Unblockable high damage laser. This is the only gun that can shoot even when "hidden".

Blink Dagger
Knife, which teleport you every hit.

A rifle that shoots bounsing bullets.

Shoots a couple of bullets for one click.

Spray
Shoots slow projectiles with ballistic trajectory. Aoe damage, which knocks guns out of hands.

Spike Ball
Shoots balls, which separates to spikes in every direction.

Beam
Shoots laser, which penetration through all objects.

Spike Gun
Shoots bullets, which separates for three spikes in oposite direction, when faced with something.

Deagle
Big damage and pushing back. Can be used to fly by hard-clicking.

M1
Fast rifle.

Classic.

Uzi
Fast gun, which effective pushing enemys back.

Useless gun on its own, but you can to hard-click it.

Shotgun, which recoil you can use to fly.

Shotgun, which recoil you can use to fly.

Unlimited ammo and rate of fire. Aoe damage. Breaks when comes into his own aoe range.

Very fast firing cannon. Pushes the enemy back hard. Can be easily blocked and breaks by reflection back own projectiles.

Shoots sticky fire. Problematic hitbox.. Fire can be blocked.

Snake Minigun
Heavy big gun with problematic hitbox. Shoots a lot of snakes. Can be used to fly by recoil.

Heavy big gun with problematic hitbox. Can be used to fly by recoil.

Time Bubble
Shoots bullet, which becames bubble when facing with something. Stops all objects and blows up after some time.

Trash

Ice Gun
Shoots slow ice projectails, which pushes enemy back a little.
DPP: 8

Thruster
Shoots slow rockets, which sticks to all objects, pushes back and blows up with little damage. Can be blocked.

Snake Shotgun
Shotgun, which shoots 3 snake and can be used to fly by recoil.

Snake Launcher
Heavy slow gun. Shoots big snakes.

Flying Snake
Heavy slow gun. Shoots big snakes, which can hover in air.

Snake Grenade
Regular grenade launcher analogous, only instead of exploding, four little snakes appears.

Snake Gun
Shoots little snakes.

Glue Gun
Shoots sticky bullets. Often helps to enemys.
DPP: 5

Black Hole
Shoots one projectail, which fixes and starts to increases. Slows the fall of guns. Sometimes saves from falling into the abyss.

Special

Lightsaber
Sword analogous.
DPP: 100

Pumpkin Gun
Shoots slow projectail, which can bounse.
DPP: 25

Snakes damage

Little snake;
DPP: 5

Big snake;

4.1. Tricks and Bug-using
Tricks
1) Getting gun makes you able to do one extra jump.
2) You can throw gun diagonally upward and jump from throwed cannon. But also this way you can hit yourself.
3) You can use Shotguns, Miniguns and Deagle to fly.
4) You can fly by hitting snakes or dead bodies.
5) Drop and get your gun back, to reload it.
6) You can hard-click revolver and deagle, right after getting gun with 60 fps. By same mechanic you can instant shoot perfectly in mouse direction right after getting any gun.
7) You can make shot and throw gun in same moment.
8) You can walk and jump on spikes. To not die you have to do it frame perfectly. Also you can survive falling on spikes by throw gun to place, where you gonna fall.
9) You can hide behind a couple of map decoration (the worst tactic, but sometime can work)
10) Bubbles of "Time Bubble" stops some map elements.
11) "Thruster" projectails can stick to throwed guns and to some projectails, for example to granades.
12) With any gun or melee weapon, with 120+ fps and on your host, you can semi-fly by combination of attacks and throwing.
13) You can stop throwed gun without taking damage, if you luckely touch that.
14) Controllers can normally aim out of screen bounds.
15) Broad screen have some more fov.
16) On "Xmas" maps you can instantly detect spear in present. It is only one weapon, which falls faster than others.
17) You can jump with certain rhythm for compensate recoil of some guns and shoot more accurately.

Bug-using
1) You can shoot thought the wall with any weapon (You also cant throw weapons thought the wall, but it more problematic). For the most effective realisation you should throw gun front the wall and grab it in wall already.
2) You can hide your gun. To do this you should take gun with holding your block. Then other players cant see your gun, until you release block. Only one gun, which can shoot in this condition is "Sream".
3) If you will drop gun right under your legs, there is a chance you will get upward boost. Also you can move up, if you will take gun and stand on other gun.
4) With "Snake Shotgun" and "Sawed off" you able to clip thought the walls. For the most effective realisation you should to shoot with little distance from the wall.
5) You can duplicate gun, if you will throw it in same frame when you get it.
4.2. Maps tricks

Desert9 - Its possible to jump to other tower by two different ways.


Factory9 - Its possible to climb up by two different ways.


Lava6 - Its possible to climb up and upper.


Lava7 - Its possible to get beam instant by two different ways.

5. Bosses
Blue Boss
Phases:
1) Shoots slow bullets
2) Shoots bullet volley
3) Shoots useless projectail
Strategy:
Just shoot the boss, pushing him to the other bound of map.

Red Boss
Phases:
1) Shoots slow bullets
2) Spike ball
3) Shoots explosive projectails
Strategy:
During first and third phases, run around map, shoot the boss and throw guns at him. During the second phase throw away the gun and run around any one platform. You can damage boss in spike ball, if you will aim his legs. And you can oneshot this boss by spikes.

Yellow Boss
You cant hard-click revolver on this map.
Phases:
Fires a wall of slow projectiles between phases.
1) Shoots slow bullets.
2) Shoots triple laser.
Strategy:
Just avoid damage, shoot the boss and throw guns at him. This fight hard only because of uncomfortable gun.

Disco Boss
Phases:
1) Shoots slow bullets.
2) Shoots projectiles, which after contact with a special floor, release waves in different directions.
3) Shoots one slow projectile, which after contact with a special floor, deals damage in short distance, starts blow up and creates safe zone. (Buggy)
Strategy:
During first phase just shoot him. During second phase drop your gun and dodge waves, or you can throw gun to the wall, climb on it, jumping over the spikes, get your gun back and continue to shoot. During third phase you should to block projectail to the most far direction and shoot boss again. You can oneshot this boss by spikes or abyss.
6. Stick Fight Discord community
The best way to become better - Being destroyed by player, who much stronger than you. In random matches unfortunelly realy hard to meet strong player. And for today, there is only one way to fast find good player - on discord community.
