Thanks, beat the game. Did it way before Y- and X-rockets to 9. I used extra talent point "notes" in third row, used both eye & puke in the garden, and maxed GEET.

i know you said the other talent points can go anywhere but DO NOT take bullet breath. it will turn the flame breath into bullets then normal arrows and you will loose you source of fire. made it all the way to 9.5 before i realized i didnt have the OOMPH for the final push to 10

great guide, done this with only 14 talent points. got an extra talent point (15) during playing. 17hrs to 10/10 initiate compression

UPDATE!
(Ah, annoying how it doesn't let you edit comments)
So it turns out, pretty much from point 51 onwards, you just follow the "Endgame Instructions" and buy more Runners and Bombers as you need. Also shortly after posting my comment I did get the compression, seemingly randomly, hah.
Eventually I got to the point where after I had bought the Rail Gun, and the Finale, it let me Initiate, and then it was all over :P

Hello, I am following this guide, and I feel like I must be missing something.
I have done everything exactly as the guide says, and am up this this line...

I do not have the ZYB, and the compression even is not likely to happen at this point.
My rockets are Y7 and X6, and each current upgrade is almost 100M.
I've been idling for a long time and only have just hit 40M...
It's going to take hours of idling to get the rockets to Y8 and X7, let alone both the next level after that.

What am I missing? Other people say the guide worked for them...
(is it just expected that it might take many hours, or even days, of idling to get past this point?)

@That Bastard Monk I have editied the guide to omit that. Realized later on that mountaineers are not worth it, what I was going for was to go to the cafe which has a toggle for mountaineers after you get 25 bombers
