Opis
The Scion class of transport submarines is by far the most profitable line produced by the AIC. Filling the ranks of countless commercial shipping fleets, these sturdy workhorses are loved by CEOs and upper management for their great affordability and high cargo capacity. However, they are feared by many a trucker-captain due to their notoriously vulnerable keel-mounted command rooms. The multipurpose Galdur-D minisub carried by many Scion-class vessels proves useful both as a utility drone for carrying minerals out of tight caves, as well as a means of remotely deploying decoys and depth charges.

Galdur-D minisub
Adapted from the Galdur Scout Pod, Galdur-D is a periscope-driven drone/shuttle that can be controlled either from the command room or within the shuttle itself (wear a diving suit as Galdur-D does not contain an oxygen generator). It features a depth charge launcher, discharge coil, and external crate storage for use during mining/salvage excursions.
  • To dock/undock, aim the periscope at one of Galdur-D's docking hatches and double-click. Or use the docking buttons on the wall nearby.
  • When undocked, clicking and holding will move the drone in the direction of your cursor.
  • Deploy depth charges by pressing the button in the drone or the one in Scion’s command room.

If you use the Performance Fix mod, update these settings to ensure that it doesn’t break the drone or any other systems.

@Tendou it just adds one item to make the Horn sound when you press the button. Other than that everything is Vanilla.

@Aidowl, understandable. I've had a crack at the editor several times. There are simply anomalies that bot programming needs improvement on. Thanks for this sub though. I'm thoroughly enjoying it!

@Shamoo yeah, unfortunately that's something I haven't really figured out yet. Best thing to do is just order the bots to ignore the repairable items inside the minisub.

Love this sub. But bots keep getting stuck trying to repair the mini sub.

@Cakes sorry I'm not sure what you mean exactly. I haven't encountered any problems with the drone being docked while at outposts... perhaps you could try resubscribing/re-downloading the mod.

sorry, apparently the drone is fine outside of outposts. but when you're docked at an outpost the problem happens when the sub is glitched to the side that you cant climb into/out of it
