Mahjong is about a game where you need to collect or gacha the tile from draw... for how do you end the game, you need to complete 4 set and a pair of a same tile, to finish a round or win the round. You neeed to achive the game by collecting on draw or calling Chi! or Pon .

When player calling Ron or Tsumo the games round end....
The game usually end in East 4 (in a short game) or South 4 (in a full game)

Before starting playing you need to understand about yaku... you can find the yaku guide on the menu of icon ? . Or by following Ichihime classroom...

It's okay to be overwhelming to learn everything, but if you already remembering every yaku, congratulation, you can play mahjong with in so many ways...

But if you cannot start by remembering ALL SIMPLE
or even more simpler by remembering a DRAGON .

In case you are confuse with Chinese / Japanese Kanji here is the list of the dragon
Red, White, Green




Then get starting to add more to your memory at least 2 yaku a weeks.

Remember Knowledge is a weapon in this game the more you have it the more you get it...


(WARNING! You don't need to read local yaku... You cannot play this kind of yaku on Ranked match. This yaku usually used in local gameplay or special rule in tournament.)

Kan is a form where you have four same tile there are two types of kan.
Close Kan and Open Kan

Kan is like a double edge sword... When you play Mahjong and someone call a Kan you will open up an opportunity to everyone, to create a better score. Why? Kan is opening up more Dora Indicator

What is the function of Dora Indicator?
Dora indicator are a tile that indicate that next tile after this tile is a Dora

The more Dora you have the more score you will get...

By understanding how to play the yaku, you can make your own play style... But not how to carefuly playing the mahjong it self.

So how to play carefully is a key to win or defense your score, first of all. to play carefully you need to see your opponent board. If you are on the lead or don't want to losing more point Pay attention your opponent discarded pile.... and the tile they create. Here some list to for you to perform better in playing mahjong:

1. When the opponent say "Riichi" please start discarded the same tile your opponent discarded
   
2. When your opponent "Pon a Dragon" please stay alert may be their set were about to finsihed
   
3. If your score were on the lead please play carefully "don't riichi even if you can..." Better have an option to run then missing a score because of riichi.
   
4. If you are almost finished your hand and still in the second or third place don't be greedy count the yaku score you can get.. if not more than 2 han better scrap the hand then missing more point...
   
5. Don't forget your wind and enemy win also round wind... Remember you can always end round using wind! not only dragon....
   
6. Remember ALL SIMPLE is always faster... don't give them your discarded tile losing with a player who only playing all simple was ok , if you only losing once but when you keep feeding them you are ruining your own game...
   
7. Play 50/50 on open and close hand... When you starting playing like this you will play better...
