Description
•Do you want to make the biggest map possible in the world of project zomboid but not sure which mods can you use/ which map mods overwrite others?
•Did you start making a map only to find that someone else already made a map for that cell; as a result your map is forgotten by the community?
•Do you just want to get an overall idea of pz map with mods enabled?
This mod will help you find out if a cell already has a map mod on it or not.


At the moment it is not a mod you can download for ingame as there are limitations to uploading exe,dll on steam. So to see the map you need to go to itch.io
It's posted here because until I figure out all things you guys can help me point out mistakes and keep it updated for map makers to use and make it useful as is.

#Note: In order for this tool to be used in it's full potential this needs a rewrite. Therefore 2.02.12 (41) will be the last update till rewrite.

• in game version(still figuring it out)
• when hovered over the cell it shows the map that occupy that cell.
• Make a gui for coordinates
• A better gui for maps listed
• A system and gui for adding new maps , coordinates and steam link
• Support for importing coordinates and map names from a txt/ java file
• Add steam direct download link to all the maps
• a gui for Auto subscribe all selected maps
• actual tiled map for all of them so people who prefer can see the maps
• Searchable maps
• Polishing: map name and highlighting
• Better map conflict finder with GUI


## F.A.Q
Q: I can track the maps in spreadsheet why even make this?
A: I started keep track that way too until I had the realization some cells have multiple conflicts those maps also conflict in other cells with different maps. So needed a better solution
Q: Why is it so ugly?
A: I am not good at this. This is literally my first time making anything involving game engines.
Q: Will you keep it updated?
A: I will try but I can only check so many updates alone. if you find discripancy try to comment down. I'll update. Eventually I'll try to create a system to auto find discripancy. but till then manual it is.
Q: Can I help / take it for myself to create a better version of it?
A: yes. Credits not needed but will appriciate.

Very interesting. I made somthing similar but using the currently installed mods to check if they overlap and creating an excel file with the coordinates. If you want to base your import file on that, you can gladly use that: https://github.com/jXjil/Mapcell-Checker
It would be great, if this would somehow be integrated into the game dircetly, especially with the upcoming infinte world.

@Clowd (They/Them) can you test louisevillle river marina and north coast police station and see if they conflict? try the marina first then add police station and post some pictures if possible

1. Checkpoint North Muldraugh (Note, nearly all of these checkpoints are small tents. Alot of my additions are near pointless. But if this is meant to be an extensive list, these should be included
2. Muldraugh Checkpoint
3. Cell 37x27 (any of the options fit, and i didnt want to decide your criteria till then. Let me know your choice once made so i can add it to my modpack for a copyiable link)
4. Cell 36x27 (Same thing, one less option. Please do tell me)
5. Both Firecamp and Admin River Base. Adding both, but both they seem to have conflicts and no listed cell space by the mod creator, and are seemingly abandoned, and thus are probably not good to put in the pack. Would recommend....something? Unsure, maybe a fix mod for the both
6. Corn Farm
7. South Westpoint Checkpoint
8. Westpoint Trailorpark & Vhs Store

To preface my findings, these are not yet tested in game. I'm using both the steam page and this mod for the cell locations, as well as comments(Other than a select few that were said to have issues). I do need to test these in game, once my entire modpack for all of the mods is done (Which will be taking awhile as, as far as i can tell, no one has made an easy use link and i must do these individually). I do apologize for a lack of clear english, and dont mind making clarifications if necessary

Should i continue logging missing maps that i find? Unsure following the conversation i read. If unnecessary i will stop, but i dont mind continueing as i work on my mod pack

Try running in local and test only the maps and see if you can run them. do a verify files of games. This seems like problems if maps are the reason of problems. There seems to be all lot of logs like this for every map

But I did... that's very weird. Maybe it happened when a helpful someone in the comments told me to download the remaining tilesets and I forgot to apply in server settings? But I remember doing it.... Mhm...
