Datasheet Reload - fixed

Description
--- This is a reupload of salamanders mod, all credit goes to them. I simply did some fixing since the original mod was no longer being maintained and wasn't working for me anymore. ---

Workshop link to the original: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2369524814

Please note that reloading data sheets can cause bugs and I would not recommend using this mod on a save you want to keep playing long-term. At least make a backup of the save!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Original Description:

This modding tool triggers reloading some of the game data sheets without requirement of a new career. Please read the workshop description very carefully!

Use at your own risk!

In current version the mod reloads the Entities/Equipment data every time when the save is loaded.

The tool is meant to be used once when you for example want to use new mod, but want to avoid starting a new career.

Procedure:
1. make backup of your savegame.
2. enable the Datasheet Reload mod and the mod of interest which is changing the Entities/Equipment data in the launcher.
3. start the game and load your savegame.
4. save the game into new slot and close the game.
5. disable the Datasheet Reload mod in the launcher.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is a file called "Settings.cs" in your steam folder at:
\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\494840\3310038057\Source

You can edit this file locally to enable/disable reloading certain datasheets.

"Entities/Equipment" as well as "Sandbox/Spawners" are currently supported and enabled by default,
while reload of Sandbox/Countries has been implemented by the original author and may or may not be working currently (feel free to test and let me know, if you know how to work with this sheet, because i do not).

Warning: This mod blocks the sub's upgrade feature. When you go to the upgrade view, the only items that have the green gear icon indicating a possible upgrade are the emblem, decoration, and deck gun (and even these can sometimes be missing).
Other upgrades, such as Snorkel, Balkon, etc., could be searched, but will no longer be installed.

afaik the mod only reloads the "spawners" tab of the sandbox sheet in its current version, which is basicly just the original code from Salamander slightly restructured and a few lines rewritten to restore functiionality.

i'm still planning to look into how feasable it would be to expand this mod to cover more/all datasheets and tabs, but haven't gotten around to doing that yet. from what i've gathered so far it's quite the task.

does this reload the sandbox datasheet automatically if I load the game with this mod ? Like if I made changes to the end date of campaigns mid game (Noway campagin) and load the save with this, woudld this reload the sandbox datasheet and allow me to continure the norway campaign

Could you add an update to the Crew.xlsx file in the modification?

I should have mentioned, I tried explaining this to Salamander but it never made it to description updates.

you're right, i'll update that path.

this is part of what i copy+pasted from the original workshop page of the mod, thanks for pointing out that it's wrong.

This is wrong:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\[User ID]\2369524814\Source
It should be:
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\494840\3310038057\Source

It's not User ID, it's Game ID. In this case 494840.
It will always be 494840. It's fixed, not per user.
The 2nd number is the Mod ID, which in this case is 3310038057 not 2369524814, which was presumably the old Mod ID.
Plus you generally want to go from the Steam directory since there's a good chance it is neither on C nor in Program Files
