PQ3 Adventures: The Deep Mines

Welcome to my expose on The Deep Mines adventure. It looks to be a great source for farming various glyphs. Glyphs cost 30,000 gold in the Shop and can only be purchased once a week, if you are a cheapskate like I am, and are not a VIP. You can get one free glyph (armor, weapon or accessory) in this adventure, for only a few gems, and you will need plenty of them if you want to advance in power.

OK, so that is why I'm writing the guide, but there is plenty of other information here. Let's cover the adventure shall we...


UPDATE: The developers seem to have modified the behavior of the change hero mechanism in adventures, preventing you from being able to farm the free gylph! Well, it was good while it lasted. Some players are attempting to have the change reversed, but don;t hold your breath! The other information in the guide still holds true.

The Deep Mines


The Deep Mines is a fairly straight-forward journey, with only one optional branch and a single path split to contend with. That works well for farming glyphs by limiting the number of battles you have to survive to get to the merchant.

You get 6 free energy per day, but the adventure itself is not replayable. As always, you are free to purchase more energy in blocks of 5 energy per 50 gems spent.



You have the standard 5 difficulty options available.



Battles
Let's layout the path that you will tread during the course of this journey. It should be noted that the dungeon battle are only 1 energy in this adventure for some reason, instead of the normal 2 energy. It is not a typo!

NOTE: Once you get your free glyph, if you plan to farm the glyphs, you must change hero before moving forward to the last node. See my guide on How to Farm Adventures if you do not know how it works.

Reward

Merchant Offerings
There are three merchants lurking in this adventure waiting to sell you goodies. Merchant 1 is off the optional branch, so you may or may not need to visit him. Merchant 2 is found by taking the right path at the fork, and again depending on your need in the game, you might decide it is not worth the trip. Merchant 3 is on the main path of the adventure and offers the free glyph of your choice!
