They probably used the same artists they used for the other unit icon debacle, not adhering to the existing art style.

The new ones do look so out of place. I wonder if they did it to make sure you know they added free units

It would be nice if you reworked the cards of some mods out there, like the mecha dwarf mod... it's named GHS, pretty cool, but the cards looks ugly

Way better ! What CA have done is not bad, but the scale and background is way better with your changes.

Damn those feel like orginal ones compared to ones we got, first time I saw them I mistook them for modded in unit.
