Nice To See You

Greetings fellow Puzzle Quester! Appreciate the stop by. Dawn Circuit is a simple adventure, but the reward is a random follower's crystal, which are always in high-demand. So check out what you can expect from this adventure.

Dawn Circuit

There does not seem to be any premise for this adventure. You just battle your way from start to finish to obtain your crystal. You get 4 free energy a day for this adventure, which is replayable, and features persistent health. Your health and any damage you receive carries over from battle to battle, so keep that in mind.

While it indicates 4 free energy per day, it seems you get 4 free energy anytime you start the adventure. I replay this one multiple times to get the crystals needed, and each time I start I have at least 4 energy. Some carries over from buying energy to complete the journey. If you have a different experience, let me know in the comments.

The standard difficulty choices apply. You can elect a different difficulties each time you start the adventure.

Battles
The journey is short, but the reward is worth it if you are still working to level your followers up. Crystals are 300 gems each in the shop, but for only 50 to 100 gems (to buy energy), you can get a random one. If you only need specific crystals you might be better off not trying your luck here.

There is a Fallen Draconius to content with during the last dungeon battle so beware the reflection ability if you are battling at a higher difficulty level.

1) Centaur (1 energy)
2) Cockatrice (1 energy)
3) Troll (1 energy)

West
South
4) Dungeon (2 energy)
4) Dire Boar (1 energy)
5) Ogre (1 energy)
Merchant
6) Arboleth (1 energy)

7) Fallen Champion (1 energy)
8) Dungeon (2 energy)

Reward - 500 gold, random shards and a random follower's crystal

Merchant Offering
There is a single merchant available in this journey, and he is along the slightly longer path (by 1 battle/energy), which is south at the fork, so if you are not interested in the offered items, you can simply take the shorter path to reach the end.

Fetid and Putrid
New to adventure battles that take place in the swamp are the Fetid and Putrid tokens. Including them in a match will give a small benefit to you, or if the AI matches it, to them.

A Little Math.... Ugh
Math was not my favorite subject in school. Not because math is not important, as you learn as you get older, but rather because I was not intelligent enough to grasp it. For those times when you said "I'll never use that in real life!" here is some helpful math. I feel like I am getting it wrong though.

Taking the shortest path - the direct route - requires 8 energy per completion (i.e. one follower's crystal). The table below breaks down the cost per crystal in gems of 5 replays. The shop offers crystals - specific or random - for 300 gems for comparison. Because you will have 1 energy left over each time you have to buy 5 energy for the adventure (you buy only 4 times), these values are based on 5 replays at the same difficulty.

Difficulty
Bought Energy
Reward
Gem Cost
Cost Per Crystal
Novice
5 x 4 @ 50 gems = 200 gems
10 x 5 = 50 gems
200 - 50 = 150 gems
150 / 5 = 30 gems
Veteran
5 x 4 @ 50 gems = 200 gems
20 x 5 = 100 gems
200 - 100 = 100 gems
100 / 5 = 20 gems
Champion
5 x 4 @ 50 gems = 200 gems
30 x 5 = 150 gems
200 - 150 = 50 gems
50 / 5 = 10 gems
Master
5 x 4 @ 50 gems = 200 gems
40 x 5 = 200 gems
200 - 200 = 0 gems
0 / 5 = 0 gems
Ultimate
5 x 4 @ 50 gems = 200 gems
50 x 5 = 250 gems
200 - 250 = -50 gems
-50 / 5 = -10 gems

Come Again

Pardon me for a lame joke that I recall from my youth, that this brought to mind.

My home town was so small that the front of the sign said "Welcome!" and the back of the sign said "Thank you, come again!"

Even with that bad joke in mind, I want to say "Thanks" for taking a moment to peruse through this guide. The adventure is simply, so the guide is simple. I hope you found something useful though!
