Patch: pre-Alpha 0.5.3.2

Hello and welcome to my scariest guide so far!

While Draconia has some pretty islands to explore, what about the waters between them? That's where this guide comes into play, where I'll show where to find aquatic points of interest such as the reef added in patch 0.4.0.0.

What makes this guide so scary?
The magic word is thalassophobia, the fear of the dark and unknown depths of large bodies of water, such as big lakes and the ocean. If you have thalassophobia, this guide may be a good alternative to exploring Draconias depths on your own - or a bad idea reading.

We will start of easy with semi aquatic locations you may know from my previous map guides and go down further bit by bit. Keep in mind that the whole map of Draconia is still heavily WIP and more locations will be added to the few I can show here.
And now, let's look at the good spots for your favorite water based dragons!

The coasts of Daziban
The first island, Daziban, has some beautiful ocean locations that are less intimidating than the great deep, yet you may come across some unexpected encounters!

The craters of Sonotal Cara
First we take a look at a special part of Sonotal Cara, the underwater craters. These are holes in the coastline filled with aquatic plants and corals.

They are not very deep but you may fall into one when walking in the shallow waters and hunting for crabs, which you may also find in those craters.

So if you're brave enough, diving down into them may be worth it for leveling species that are faster swimmers than others, such as Yamati and Yggaron.
Yet it is still a nice place to visit when you're already fully leveled, wether for some cool beach time, farming sand to get a legendary pearl or some Hokura eggs which you can find in the nests near these pools or a casual swim.

Parallo Cara
Parallo Cara is a nearly fully aquatic to semi aquatic location with giant mushrooms covering the coast.

This place has shallow waters and deeper spots, so keep an eye on where you're walking! It seems very peacefull, no angry crabs around and no even angrier Hokuras that could harm your dragon. Lets hope it stays that way!

Brakzs Caryes Saro reef
The waters at Brakz Caryes have some smaller water plants, nothing special. But if you venture south, you may come across the reef at Brakz Caryes Saro.

It is a small and simple reef between the main beach and the semi island of Palo Quario. Bright blue and purple corals cover the ground, though you won't be able to see their full beauty.

They're to deep and the light that reaches them is to weak to let their colors really shine. I can advise choosing a Yamati to explore deeper regions like the reefs since they're the fastest swimmers and it feels so nice diving between the corals with one.

The coasts of Eztalin
The Basalt Cave
The basalt cave lies at the coast near the city of Athyne and is fully flooded in shallow water, just deep enough for grown dragons to swim.

The cave itself is also not that dark inside during daytime, making it less scary to visit.

The shore right in front of it is full of semi aquatic, mangrove like Revona trees, so if you don't want to go inside you have a different area to hang out and watch the sunset at.

Swirly Beach Reef
The reef at the swirly beach of Eztalin reaches a bit closer to the surface, but also just as deep as the other and looks very similar. It seems also a little smaller than the neighbouring reef at Daziban.
It's best visible from up high at night, when the corals start glowing!

Where Lava kisses the Sea
In the far north of Eztalin lies Ignasley, a combination of canyons, lava lakes and spectacular lava falls that gave this region its name, because Ignasley means “firefalls”. And behind the large rocks, these flames meet the sea, a breathtaking sight for dragons big and small. Do the Vodros spend their beach vacation here?

Well, my Fyrrwin here really enjoyed the view from one of the rock pillars.

They offer the perfect place to soak up the warm sun and let the fresh sea breeze blow over your fur and scales without having to get close to the hot lava.
The great depths
The great depths are locations between the islands in the deeper parts of the ocean. Some may still be localized as part of specific islands, like our first location that is just between 2 of them.

Szadowai Reefs
Between the heavily WIP islands Alrrak and Szadowai, lesser being nicknamed Lotus Island for its lotus flower shape, is a big reef with massive bone-like structures, one of which reachs almost all the way to the surface!

It is the deepest and biggest underwater location at the moment, very dark and uncanny to be at for many people. Specially when you don't know you're not the only one exploring it..
Final Words
You know the flow! As always, I'll drop you the important links:

Just like the islands themselves, the oceans are WIP and maybe not all parts of it will look as fancy as the locations you've seen in this guide. But atleast you should have a better time finding them now! Or avoiding them.

Here you find my other guides mentioned before:

Thank you for your time and stay hydrated! :)

This game is need of some underwater caves. And being able to build in caves. Underwater building would be cool too so I can build a Dragon Palace for my Dilong Yamati.
