1. In the Thick of It

1. Rescue the Good Professor
The first mission begins, opening up a campaign full of infinite possibilities. Let’s get started! You start with a small Allied force under your command in the northern part of the map. Among your units is a commando, Tanya, who will be your key asset throughout this mission. The best way to avoid casualties is to use Tanya to approach the Soviet base and let her handle the enemies. Keep Soviet riflemen and grenadiers at a distance while attacking, ensuring Tanya remains unharmed.

2. Power Play
As Stavros aptly put it, their weakness is power. Therefore, your next objective is to destroy the power plants on the west side of the map, plunging the Soviet base into darkness. Ignite the explosive barrels to quickly take out the power plants. Once they’re destroyed, the Tesla coils guarding the Soviet main base will go offline, which is crucial for rescuing Professor Albert Einstein.

3. Snatch and Grab
With the Tesla coils offline, eliminate the two Soviet guards in front of the tech center. Escort Professor Einstein to safety and wait for the Chinook at the exfiltration point. Meanwhile, feel free to enjoy demolishing buildings with Tanya. Reinforcements in the form of cruisers will arrive from the south and start bombarding the Soviet base—just be careful not to get caught in the crossfire.

4. Prepare for Exfil
Once the Chinook arrives, escort Einstein aboard and leave the combat area. Mission accomplished. Good luck, Commander!

2. Five to One

1. New Construction Options
In this mission, we dive into the core aspect of base building. The mission is centered around a narrow mountain pass where Soviet troops are blocking the path of an Allied convoy. Your objective is to eliminate the Soviet outpost and ensure the convoy's safe passage. It's important to note that this mission is linked to the fourth mission of the Allied campaign, so the decisions you make here will impact the future! Start building your base (your MCV will automatically deploy, if you want to deploy your MCV somewhere else you'll have to interact and send it to a different location before it deploys) by constructing essential base infrastructure, including a power plant, ore refinery, and barracks.

 Five to One-01.png]
2. Ivan’s Army
The Soviets are entrenched on the west side of the map. You'll find a small outpost that can be reached with your reinforcements, which will arrive periodically throughout the mission. Use the Rangers (essentially jeeps with mounted M60s) to clear out Soviet infantry near your base. Gradually move southwest, continuing to eliminate enemy infantry. Be cautious of enemy attack dogs, as they can swiftly take down your soldiers. Try to prevent your units from being caught by these dogs.

 Five to One-02.png]
3. Expanding Your Base
Continue expanding your base; the more you build now, the stronger your position will be in the fourth mission of this campaign. To ensure a stable economy, I recommend constructing three ore refineries and setting up some base defenses, such as pillboxes. These defenses will also be crucial when you destroy the Soviet outpost, as this action will trigger all enemy units to launch an attack on your base. Keeping your units positioned behind the pillboxes will protect them effectively.

 Five to One-03.png]
 Five to One-04.png]
4. Dramatic Entrance
Push your Rangers towards the Soviet outpost and methodically begin destroying the enemy base. The AI is relatively passive at this point and may allow you to dismantle the base with minimal interference. However, stay vigilant for any incoming enemy infantry and attack dogs.

 Five to One-05.png]
5. It’s the Final Countdown
Once the Soviet base is destroyed, a final assault on your base will commence as the remaining Soviet units converge on your position. After you have eliminated all enemy forces, three convoy trucks, easily recognizable by their mint green color, will enter the map. Allow the convoy trucks to exit the map, and your mission will be complete. Good luck, Commander!

3. Dead End (North)

1. Let’s Rock
In this mission, your objective is to destroy key bridges to prevent Soviet troops from advancing into Western Europe. You’ll be using special agent Tanya and a small attack group to accomplish this. The mission isn’t overly difficult, but it does require good micromanagement skills. Keep Tanya alive—if she dies, the mission is an automatic failure. Let’s get started! You’ll begin the mission with a small group in the northern part of the map, consisting of agent Tanya and a self-propelled artillery unit. Order Tanya to head south and eliminate the Soviet guard holding a field medic hostage (be careful not to set off the explosive barrels nearby). Move west and eliminate the entrenched Soviet soldiers near the trees. Watch for a transport vessel approaching from the west—it will unload Soviet riflemen onto the beach. Position Tanya carefully to take them out.

2. The First Outpost
Next, you’ll reach a Soviet outpost containing a barracks, construction yard, two power plants, and a tech center. Wait for the Soviet soldiers to approach and eliminate them. Use the artillery unit to destroy the flame tower, but be sure to avoid triggering the explosive barrels, as this will help rescue the field medic and engineer taken hostage. Level the outpost and move east. If you want, you can use the engineer to capture some of the buildings (there are various guides online explaining how to build a basic base, though that's beyond the scope of this walkthrough 😉). Finish off the two Soviet riflemen on the other side of the barbed wire fence.

3. The Last (Out)post
You’re now approaching an open area with water crossings to the north and east. Be cautious of the northern crossing, where a hidden Soviet V2 rocket launcher is waiting (it’s concealed by the fog of war). Take it out by shooting the explosive barrels across the water. Also, watch out for an attack dog and a Soviet grenadier heading toward you—don’t let Tanya fall victim to them. Cross the water with Tanya and your team, but move carefully. More Soviet soldiers and attack dogs will swarm you once you enter the base. Proceed cautiously, destroying enemy base structures one at a time. At the northern entrance, ignite the explosive barrels to destroy the bridge (this will also damage nearby structures). Stay away from the flame tower—use your artillery unit to take it down if needed.

4. Fiery Landing
Retrace your steps to the area with the two water crossings. This time, head north. Be on high alert—Soviet paratroopers will land as you move forward. Use the explosive barrels to take them out, but time it well. If you’re too early or too late, the explosion won’t catch all of them. A perfectly timed blast will eliminate the entire group.

5. Nobody Here But Us Trees
Cross the bridge with your team and eliminate the approaching Soviet infantry. There will be more soldiers entrenched near the trees—clear them out. Once across, have Tanya plant explosives on the bridge and detonate it to stop enemy reinforcements.

6. Bridging the Gap
With the first bridge destroyed, move forward and cross the next one. Act quickly—Soviet heavy tanks will approach. Ignite the explosive barrels immediately to collapse the bridge before the tanks can cross. If you’re too slow, the tanks will get through and make the mission much harder. Destroy the final bridge with Tanya to complete the mission. Good luck, Commander!

3. Dead End (South)

1. Ka-ching!
More bridges… let's get to it! This mission has a similar setup to the first variation of Dead End. You start with Agent Tanya in the north of the map. Move Tanya south toward a small village, eliminating the Soviet soldier blocking your path. In the village, you'll find a Soviet convoy truck. Use Tanya to fire at the truck to get it moving. At the same time, a field medic will emerge from the first house. When the truck is near the explosive barrels, shoot the barrels to destroy the truck. Collect the crate of cash, eliminate the remaining Soviet soldier in the village, and head east with Tanya and the field medic.

2. Your First Bridge
Guide the team to an open area where the first bridge is located. Eliminate the Soviet riflemen crossing the bridge, then destroy the bridge to prevent more troops from flanking you. Continue moving east with Tanya and the field medic until you reach a small church where a mint-green Ranger awaits. Deal with the Soviet infantry along the way.

3. Rangers Lead the Way!
Move Tanya and the field medic north, where you'll find a firing squad aiming at Allied engineers. At the same time, the mint-green Ranger will speed toward Soviet heavy tanks blocking the road but will get trapped by Soviet forces. First, target the leader of the firing squad to distract them, and lure them towards the explosive barrels near the northern part of the base. Time your shot to ignite the barrels, wiping out most of the soldiers. Once clear, approach the trapped Ranger and eliminate the guards. Next, ignite the barrels next to the heavy tanks, freeing the Ranger, which will then crash into a flame tower, destroying it.

4. Infiltration Operation
Head west to a ridge formed by rock formations. As you approach, a Soviet Badger bomber will drop paratroopers near some explosive barrels. Wait until the paratroopers are almost on the ground, then ignite the barrels to eliminate them. Enter the northern Soviet base through the gap left by the destroyed flame tower. Inside, be cautious of grenadiers, who pose a significant threat. Use the engineers to capture the power plant and submarine pen.

5. Sea of Tranquility
Build a transport vessel and move it to a small beachhead at the top of the map. You'll receive two light tanks as reinforcements. Use the tanks to crush the infantry, then load them onto the transport vessel. Return to the Soviet base and unload the tanks, using them to destroy the remaining flame towers from a distance.

6. Countdown to Victory
With the flame towers out of the way, send Tanya to destroy the bridge west of the base. Continue moving your forces westward to a small Soviet outpost with a barracks. Eliminate the soldiers and destroy the barracks by igniting the explosive barrels. Quickly head north to ignite the barrels on the middle island between two bridges. This will weaken the northernmost bridge, causing it to collapse when the heavy tanks attempt to cross it. Timing is key here—if the tanks make it across, they'll cause major problems, so act fast! Finally, destroy the remaining bridge to complete the mission. Good luck, Commander!

4. Ten to One

1. Déjà Vu
The fourth mission of the Allied campaign might look familiar, as it takes place in the same mountain pass that was the focal point of Mission 2. However, the Soviet forces are significantly stronger this time, with heavy tanks in their arsenal to make things more difficult for you. Fortunately, preparations have been made to allow you to quickly ramp up your unit production. You’ll start off where you left last time—with three refineries, pillboxes for base defense, and barracks. Begin by constructing two war factories for light tank production and a radar dome to increase battlefield awareness. Simultaneously, train rocket soldiers to defend against incoming Yak attack aircraft.

 Ten to One-01.png]

2. Unit Ready
While this is happening, start producing light tanks. Take one of your mine layers to secure the southern passage, which is one of the routes enemy armor will use to attack your base. Strengthen your defenses by building additional turrets and pillboxes throughout your base. Ensure you have enough pillboxes positioned to eliminate pilots who bail out from downed aircraft. Build a service depot to repair your vehicles and reload your mine layers. Continue to produce light tanks as the core of your force.

 Ten to One-02.png]

3. Quantity Has a Quality of Its Own
Mine the northern passages, including the entrance to the northern iron ore field, to slow down enemy forces. Respond quickly to any heavy tanks and infantry that approach. If you use your light tanks for defense, be sure to repair them regularly at the service depot. Once you have produced a sufficient number of tanks, order them to move to the southwestern sector. Be cautious of enemy armor there. Keep your light tanks close and constantly maneuver to avoid taking heavy damage, especially from heavy tanks. If you manage your movements carefully, you should be able to minimize damage. However, your true strength lies in numbers—if you have enough light tanks, enemy armor shouldn’t pose a major threat. Wait until your entire battlegroup is assembled in the south, then move north to engage the enemy base.

 Ten to One-03.png]

4. Friend or Foe?
Ivan’s base is located to the north, defended by flame towers, infantry, and tanks. Use your light tanks to attack the base, and keep them moving to reduce the effectiveness of enemy fire. Prioritize destroying the flame towers first. Move your tanks near enemy infantry clustered around the barracks—if timed correctly, the flame towers might inadvertently take out some of their own troops with friendly fire. Once the defenses are weakened, target the construction yard, barracks, and war factory. Destroying these key buildings will halt enemy unit production and render the base defenseless. Carefully eliminate other structures with your light tanks, but beware—the AI will sell off structures when critical buildings are destroyed, spawning a large number of riflemen. To avoid an overwhelming infantry rush, destroy non-critical buildings (like power plants and silos) between assaults on key structures. Finally, finish off the ore truck to win the game. Good luck, Commander!

1. Mission Timer Initialized
You start the mission with two teams (north and south). It helps to create groups so you can select relevant soldiers quickly. The optimal division of groups is a matter of personal preference, but I always group riflemen and other units separately for both the north and south teams. Move an engineer from the north team to the console to destroy the flame tower and order the riflemen along the middle wall to destroy the two heavy tanks.

 Focused Blast-01.png]
2. Explosive barrels
Move the south team along the same middle wall as the north team. Be careful not to be overrun by one of the four mobile radar jammers. Let the riflemen take point and position them near the explosive barrels. Hit the barrels to take out the incoming Soviet soldier. Wait for a patrol coming from the east corridor to pass by the explosive barrels. Once they are close, ignite the barrels with gunfire to eliminate the patrol.

 Focused Blast-02.png] Focused Blast-03.png]
3. The Lone Guardian
Use one of your riflemen to ignite the remaining barrels, taking out the last enemy soldier in the area. This will also trigger another patrol with an attack dog to move into the area. Station all riflemen in the middle of the room and take them out. If you position your riflemen well, they should only sustain light damage, if any. The next step is to take out the flame tower preventing the north team from moving further into the facility. Head with your south team to the east corridor and take out the grenadier. Use one soldier as a decoy and then move in with the rest of the team to eliminate the grenadier. If you time your response well, you should avoid casualties. Move an engineer to the control panel to destroy the flame tower.

 Focused Blast-05.png] Focused Blast-04.png]
4. Your first terminal
Move the north team into the northeast corridor, making sure to stop in time to fend off an incoming attack dog. Move the south team to the south corridor leading to the first technical room. Using a spy to explore the room helps reveal enemy soldiers. Eliminate the Soviet soldiers one by one (rotate and heal your soldiers). To eliminate the grenadier without falling victim to his critical hits, use the same diversion tactic as before. Move an engineer to plant explosives on the terminal.

 Focused Blast-06.png]
5. Technicalities
Move the north team up the corridor and eliminate the soldiers in the annex. There’s a health crate there. Move the south team to the southeast corridor and eliminate the remaining enemy soldier there. You’ll find another health crate. Move the south team to the larger technical room in the southeast and start eliminating the enemy soldiers there. Be wary of the enemy attack dog that might suddenly join the fight. Also, be careful that your riflemen are not distracted by enemy technicians, making them vulnerable to attacks from Soviet riflemen. Ensure your men stay away from the flame tower guarding the next section of the facility. Place an explosive charge on the terminal.

 Focused Blast-07.png]
6. Thirty Minutes Remaining
Order the north team to clear out the northern technical room. The best approach is to position your riflemen in front of the technical room and use one soldier to lure the two Soviet riflemen out of the room. Then, proceed into the room and eliminate the remaining enemy soldier. Place explosives on the terminal. Reinforcements will arrive in the south (three riflemen); group them with the team. Move the riflemen from the north team through the corridor to the east, stopping in front of another console. Wait for two enemy attack dogs to approach and eliminate them. Order an engineer to use the console to destroy the flame tower.

 Focused Blast-08.png] Focused Blast-09.png]
7. Central Hall
Move both teams to the east. The south team will approach a central hall patrolled by many enemy units. Eliminate the attack dog, then move an engineer to the central terminal. Afterward, move him to the terminal on the top left. By now, you should have noticed an enemy patrol moving back into the south corridor. Follow quickly with the same engineer to activate a friendly flame tower turret in the south chamber. Let the flame tower take out the enemy units there, including the patrol.

 Focused Blast-10.png] Focused Blast-11.png]
8. Run, Forrest, Run
Move the entire south team to the chamber south of the central hall. A connected technical room contains a Soviet flamethrower soldier who will rush toward you—ignite the barrels to eliminate him. Be cautious, as there is often an enemy attack dog in the technical chamber. Make sure to explore the chamber before sending in an engineer. Once the room is cleared, move in an engineer to activate the terminals to eliminate flame towers in the central hall and at the top of the facility, guarding a treasure chamber (we won’t go there now—that’s for another video!). Finally, place explosive charges on the terminal.

 Focused Blast-12.png] Focused Blast-13.png]
9. Disco Inferno
Send an engineer to the lower-left terminal in the central hall to place an explosive charge (this one is easy to miss!). Move the south team eastward and eliminate the soldiers there. Beware of the enemy attack dog and incoming patrol. Be careful not to activate the enemy squad to the south, which is guarded by flame towers. If you do, it’s practically over, so don’t! Move a single soldier to eliminate the attack dog guarding the console on the west wall, then send in an engineer to blow up the flame towers, taking out the entire squad.

 Focused Blast-14.png] Focused Blast-15.png]
10. Ten Minutes Remaining
Move a squad of riflemen to the southeast corridor to a technical chamber. There is a Soviet soldier there—eliminate him. Send in an engineer to place explosive charges on the terminal and activate the console on the north wall of the room to eliminate the remaining flame tower in the central hall.
Move the north team to the top entrance of the central hall and eliminate the enemy patrol circling around the northeast block of the facility. Use the south team to eliminate two Soviet riflemen guarding the top-right terminal.

 Focused Blast-16.png] Focused Blast-17.png]
11. Reunion
Join the north and south teams to form a single regiment. Use an engineer to place explosive charges on the terminal at the top right of the central hall. There is one terminal remaining — move your soldiers to the last room and eliminate the enemy soldiers guarding the terminal. Beware of the enemy attack dog in the room. Finally, lace explosives on the last terminal. Mission complete!
