Welcome!

Salutations seeker of knowledge! Have you come to meet your doom? Well, hopefully not, but rather to find information about the To Your Doom adventure in Puzzle Quest 3. In this guide you will find details about the battles that lie in wait, the merchant items for sale, and more.

I strive to provide the best and most useful information I can. There are two ways you can help me. One is to rate this guide by clicking the stars above the guide on the right hand side of the screen. Read the guide and then give it your honest rating, please. The other way is to leave feedback in the Comment section at the end of the guide, so I know what you think. Maybe I can make an improvement, or maybe you liked something and wanted to tell me about it. Either way, thanks in advance.

Alright, let see what perils await you...

To Your Doom

To You Doom is a short adventure within Puzzle Quest 3, that offers you the chance to obtain a couple of relics currently guarded by a Doomknight. Are you tough enough to to to take him down?

Three free energy per day are offered by this adventure. Given it is not replayable, and given the developers have removed the ability to farm an adventure, it makes sense to simply use the free energy given and complete this adventure over the four days allotted. No need to waste gems buying energy, in my opinion.

This adventure offers the standard difficulties. Again, since there is no ability to farm resources, and no incentive to get though the adventure quickly, your best bet is to play at the level suited to your hero and make the most of the battle rewards.

Battles
The journey features 8 battles in total, one of which is optional, and two of which are dungeons. There are no branching paths in this one, and it is relatively short. The flow of battles are as follows:

1) Harpy (1 energy)

[2) Cockatrice (1 energy)

3) Ogre Mage

4) Dungeon 1 (2 energy)

Optional side branch to visit merchant

5) Mech Rider (1 energy)

Merchant One
Merchant Two

6) Frost Giant (1 energy)

7) Doomknight (1 energy)

4) Dungeon 2 (2 energy)

Rewards - 1 rare relic and 2 epic relics

Merchant Offerings
There are two opportunities to purchase needed resources from the wandering merchants. The wares they are peddling are on display below. The Battles section details where you can find them along the journey. Merchants are listed in the order that you can encounter them.

If you are going to visit a merchant anyway, such as the Merchant One, which is along an optional path, you might as well buy anything requiring gold. Gold is easy to come by and you are probably maxed out most of the time. It never hurts to have too much of a resource than not enough!

As for the other items, I'll leave it up to you to determine if it is worth the cost for your circumstances. Some items do appear to be cheaper than in the shop, should you need them.

Now For Something We Hope You'll Really Enjoy
OK, I enjoy tossing in the odd pun, joke, story or poem into my guides. It let's me spread a little cheer, while being creative and silly at the same time. Here's some game-related silliness. Enjoy!

Gobknocker! That two-headed, overgrown beast,
thought he'd turn me into his next wondrous feast.
His belly quaked as he let loose a roar,
but with weapon drawn I stood waiting for more.
An ax swept low, and a club whizzed near my head
as I feigned being stunned and filled with dread.
He paused for a moment, both heads ready to gloat,
but I sprang forward driving my sword through his throat.

Q: What did the dragon ask his date after dinner?
A: Care to come in for a knight-cap?

Q: Why don't dragons like fast food?
A: Because they can't catch it!

Q: Why are dragon supermarkets so overcrowded?
A: It's due to all the scales.

Q: Why was the female pirate fired as an exotic dancer?
A: They said she didn't have the chest or booty for it.

End of the Line
It seems you have reached the end of this guide. I think that is an accomplishment in and of itself, as most folks seem to quit reading after the welcome! LOL. That makes you special. I hope you at least enjoyed what you read.

This is the part of the guide where I try to encourage you to check out all my other guides. It seems like a waste of effort if no one enjoys them. Some guides feature jokes and puns, some offer tips and tricks, and some are full short stores (fan fiction). All designed to brighten your day! I hope you will decide to give them a once over. I've already asked for a rating and feedback, so it appears there is nothing left but to say thank you and goodbye.

Until next time friend...
