@zetu.harrys Thanks for the rely, been wanting to make a Pre war Washington DC for a while now. One more step closer :)

@Vault not quite. But you need 3DsMax or blender. I find it easy to use 3DsMax cause it has some automated features. The biggest issue are the triangles. You need to keep it under 40k for buildings and under 35k for props. And there are creators like Macwelsham that i have no idea how they do their assets so detailed! MAGICIANS!

So in Sketchup you need to be sure that you don't have any reversed faces. And you must save the file as Sketchup8. Next you import it in 3DsMax, you delete redundant layers (have a specific sign next to them), you attach the other layers into one, next u need to flatten the map, render it to a diffuse png file, remove the UVW and export the asset as fbx. I'll try and make a video tutorial this weekend cause i'm terrible at explaining stuff :)))
