**NOTE: All version 1.5 mods are backed up on my drive linked below. Download them and drop them in your local mods folder to continue to play this list after 1.6 (you'll also need to roll your game version back to 1.5)

DESCRIPTION
This mod pack is now using Ferny's Progression Core and Progression: Scenarios alongside World Tech Level and Semi Random Research: Progression Fork. This combination allows you to control the tech limiting and also advance through tech levels if you so choose.

We are now using WORLD TECH LEVEL to limit tech. At world generation, there is a slider, make sure you set it to Medieval. Ferny's mods should select the right world tech level according to the level you choose when creating a colony, just make sure it isn't set to unrestricted unless that is what you want. You can change the tech level at any time during your game in the world screen but it will not spawn higher tech factions. If you want that you may need to spawn them in with dev-mode, or enable the factions you want by leaving tech level unrestricted at world gen and then scaling it back once your game loads. If you do that you might want to switch map tiles as you'll have things like mech detritus and burned out cars laying around.

Another option if you are trying to start out at a lower tech level, but want higher tech factions present in your world, check the mod options for World Tech Level. You can tell it not to filter factions and then you should be able to include whichever ones you want. IGNORANCE IS BLISS is included in the mod list so those factions shouldn't raid you until you increase your tech level.

Sometimes mods update and break stuff. Most recently, I had my work tab disappear. When stuff like this happens, try unsubscribing and re-subscribing to the mod collection to force steam to update everything.

If any xenotype looks weird, like Bone Reapers having human heads, go into the Facial Animations mod settings and turn off animations for that xenotype. I am patching the No-Facial-Animations gene from Big&Small into xenotypes that I notice look strange with animations, but I haven't gotten to them all yet.

This mod list works best with all Rimworld DLCs installed. My playtesting included all DLCs.

INSTALLATION GUIDE
From MrSamuelStreamer:

"For any new mod pack you should FULLY reset Rimworld, and all related files, to ensure no outdated or incompatible mods remain.

Reinstalling Rimworld or unsubscribing from mods WILL NOT fully reset your installation and old files can still persist!

Delete all files in the following folders:

Local Mods: Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods (Manually installed mods folder)

Steam Mods: Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100 (Steam mod download folder)

User data: AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios (Your user configurations, saves, etc)

You can get to this folder by typing EXACTLY(without quotes) "%appdata%/../LocalLow" into the Windows Explorer (the bar at the top of windows folders, etc)"

Once you've cleared these folders, run Rimworld once from Steam so that RimSort can find the folders it needs.

SORTING MODS
RimSort: https://github.com/RimSort/RimSort

I have moved on from RimPy as RimSort is better maintained. You can install it from the latest stable GitHub release and it should find your Rimworld folders automatically for you, hit refresh for it to populate your mods, drag all into the active side and hit SORT. Then hit SAVE, followed by RUN to launch Rimworld.

You can use the in-game mod manager if you wish, of course. It works pretty well for the most part. Make sure Rocketman is at the bottom.

My save and my RimSort list are also there if you want them. If my RimSort list is out of date with the collection, that means I haven't played this list in a while. Either use RimSort sort function, or use RimSort to disable all mods, and launch base Rimworld with only Core and DLCs. Then go into the in-game mod manger, and use auto-sort. After auto-sorting, make sure Rocketman is last on the list. Move it to the bottom manually if necessary. Once you've launched once in this way, hit refresh in RimSort and you can save the sorted mod list and launch from there going forward.

LOADING TIMES
It's a heavy mod list, it will take a long time to load up. Launch Rimworld from RimSort and go grab yourself a drink you've got a good ten minutes. Samuel Streamer: "Be PATIENT. If it crashes, lags, hangs, etc, then it is still loading. It will take a long time to load with 300+ mods. I personally have to wait 5 - 10 minutes for the game to load, slower systems will take even longer!"
