WEAPONRY
Here is a list of all the possible weapons found across the Archipelago and where to find them:

GUIDED ROCKET PODS

Guided rockets pods are a short range AOE weapon that works well as a saturation weapon. Although at reduced damage to the unguided version.

They can be unlocked by researching barrage weapons and finding two damaged pieces in the lagoons of BURROW island, accomplishing this will reward you also other components given you have the research for them.

Here is a map of where to find them on the island:

LANCE CANNONS

The lance cannons are a long range penetrating weapon that works well against heavily armored targets.

They can be unlocked by reaching the Artifact (marked on the map) and charging it up by defeating enemy vessels, usually at installations.

BONE CANNONS

Bone cannons are long range precision weapon that work well against un-armored ship components.

They can be unlocked by harvesting a demon carcass on any of the smaller islands, more often Spearhead.
This same accomplishment will unlock several other bone components, given you have the corresponding research.

Here a detailed map of where carcasses has been spotted:

ANTIQUE CANNONS

Antique cannons are a unique semi-adjustable cannons with a medium range and explosive damage.

They are mostly decorative for old sailing builds.

They can be unlocked by completing the Francis Drake challenge, which has you cross the archipelago in a sailing vessel of no less that 15 tons, equipped only of non-lifting components and wind powered propulsion.

It is recommended to have a few things for success:
A reverse placed sail or harpoons to get unstuck.
Good point defence to dispatch of rogue drones and occasional unmanned vessels.
A design capable of self-righting in case that a water spout picks you up from the water.
Make sure that the island name is displayed on your screen with every visit.

Here is a detailed map of the challenge:

MEAT TURRET DEPLOYER

The meat turret deployer is a re-skin of the twin turret deployer, giving no advantages, but deploying meaty balloon turrets.

It can be unlocked by killing a rare Glass Worm in SteelSands desert during the Spookening (read further for Spookening)

COLOURS
There are a total of 16 unlockable colours across the Archipelago, seven of these by finding three of each flower,(blue/red/yellow/orange/purple/white/green), be mindful that some of them are quite challenging to see and have a very short rendering distance.

Seven more colours can unlocked by gaining reputation at the respective forts, (deep blue/deep red/deep yellow/deep orange/deep purple/deep green/midnight) and one more through an achievement (black).
All these will unlock different colours for balloons, sails, dragoons, armor, apparel and more!

Here is a detailed map of 15 of the 16 colours:

Regular black can only be unlocked by completing the pirate king challenge.
EVENTS
ANNIVERSARY COSMETICS
Some cosmetic options are only available for a limited time during the game's anniversary, which falls starts on July 23rd and end on August 12th.

Just deploy in expedition to unlock these cool aesthetics:

SMOKE DRAGOON
A special dragoon that releases a monochromatic smoke trail behind it for a duration of one minute.

GOLD ARMOUR
Gold armor weighs the same as synth armoring, yet having only half its actual HP, making it more of a purely decorative choice rather than functional.

GOLD MUSTACHE CABINET
The golden mustache cabinet lets you customize your character appearance mid-game, without the necessity to rejoin. Every use consumes a mustache (up to 12) and can be refilled at any outpost by refilling tools.

FIREWORKS CANNON
The fireworks cannon uses a small amount of firepower and shoots no-damage explosive projectiles at a very short range. These will explode in various colorful displays of light.

THE SPOOKENING

The Spookening is a special event that falls on October of every year, beginning on the 15nth and ending on November 6th.

Completing the unique challenges, found at the bottom of your challenges interface, will reward you with one of the following:

EASTER EGGS
There are some cosmetic options that are not described anywhere in game, and must be discovered at specific locations.

REDMANS

Redman tools are a set of axe, sword, and pick-axe which can be found stabbed in some snowmen around Hollow Island.

These is what they look like and their location:

PRESENTS

Gilded Binoculars
These can be found on the roof of Tower Reckongale.
