This patch, created with Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit (AKA Compatibility Administrator), will finally fix the annoying crash on quit for Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (Premium Edition), flooding your Events Viewer of crash logs every time you play and quit the game from menu.

NOTE: it requires the use of admin command prompt and basic knowledge (CD command to enter a directory path)...

2. from an admin command prompt (CMD), after you entered the dir where you downloaded the .sdb file, enter:
   
   sdbinst.exe -q Enslaved_crash_on_quit_fix.sdb

Well, done, patch applied (will go into the registry, and you can eventually uninstall it via usual Windows apps installation list)!

Enjoy no more annoying (silent) crashes after exiting the game from menu!

Q: What is a .sdb file? Is it dangerous as my browser/antivirus says?
A: These files are generated by the MS-ACT well known official Microsoft tool for admins, to fix compatibility issues of old/buggy software. SDB files can be identified as a threat by paranoid applications just because of their nature (change buggy apps behaviour through Windows internal shims, exactly the same as when you set for example "Disable fullscreen optimizations" for a game). This file is totally safe and serves our purpose. You can inspect it installing MS-ACT and Opening it if you are paranoid...
