Kosenkyo

Kosenkyo is a map set in a small urban area in Japan, with both long and short range angles, plenty of doors and a couple of stage hazards.

The map is back with a whole new face lift, built from the ground up based off player feedback.
This is a reboot of an old map that became my most popular creation, so I decided to just completely remake it from scratch to fix some issues the original one had due to the absolutely terrible brushwork around some areas that made optimization a b!tch, making my powerful system struggle to hold 50-60fps max, however, in this new remake, everything has been built with optimization in mind.

The apartments area has been left almost completely untouched compared to the last version of the original Kosenkyo, with some rooms moved around a bit, with the biggest change being the outside area. I'll admit I'm guilty of subconsciously plagiarizing Dust 2's A long, but I was able to turn it into it's own thing as I kept going. As some of you may know if you read the dev notes on the old version (probably like 2 people) this was a layout originally made for Counter-Strike, so I just took Dust 2 as inspiration for the layout, as it was my favorite map back then.

The left area with the gas station is definitively the biggest change, with the lame storage building being replaced by a nice new McDonald's you can get up to with something I've been wanting to implement FOREVER in a map, which is being blown up with a big ahh ventilation unit. The only way to get back down is to surf down the awning and landing on the car, or taking the exit to the underpass metro area, which takes me to...

A new metro area was added, that serves as a connector from the apartments area to the service station, and a long rotate back to the new bar and the rebuilt legacy parking lot, as well as going up to the new small patio in the new apartments.

Speaking of, the timings for the top train have been mantained, it will still go by once every 1:35 minutes, with a subtle sound cue, and of course, will kill players instantly on impact.

Thanks to everyone who supported Kosenkyo both in the Gmod and CS:GO version despite all it's flaws. I hope this version is more enjoyable.
