How to stay safe while playing BO3 in just 2 simple steps.

Install T7 Patch(Easy)
On Google type in T7 patch
Click on RELEASES
Clickl on the Releases button on the right of the website and press "T7Patch.2.03.Windows.Only.zip"
Extract anywhere on your desktop
Extract the downloaded file to anywhere on your desktop and click on t7patch_203.exe
Choose your nickname(Don't put your steam name)
Pick a nickname(can be anything but your steam name) and create a password. Then make sure "Friends Only" option is picked.
Launch BLACK OPS III from steam
Launch Black Ops III from steam.
Finished+extra info
Now you're safe from hackers on Black Ops III. The T7 patch does not work with the BOIII client, but works with Steam Mods. Make sure to LAUNCH the T7 patch first every time you want to play Black Ops III. Have fun stay safe!

I'd personally suggest using cleanops T7 instead of the t7-patch currently. It has more fixes than t7-patch, adds a server browser so you can get instantly into lobbies and has numerous anticheat improvements.

@SomeDude It's "safe" but the patch also fixes numerous stuttering and performance problems. It is very easy to install and I run it every time I play the game even if I don't play with others.

For those asking you no longer get hacked per say but your private match will just get ended and you get black screened. hackers are just toxic - so I do recommend with T7 patch or play it setting firewall rules to prevent the game even allowing internet access to it so you perma offline (or turn wifi off)

This is not at all related but I was playing BO3 and realized yesterday that it was trying to download a friday the 13th map, when I did not subscribe to it at all (not even in the past). It was trying to download over 40 gigs, and I cannot find ANYTHING online about this.
