3/18/25: THE BATTLESTATIONS UPDATE

LIKE A TOTAL SPAZ I FINALLY REMEMBERED I COULD MAKE THE MEN ON THE BOATS CARE A BIT MORE ABOUT GETTING TO THEIR STATIONS IN A TIMELY MATTER. BEWARE AI THAT YOU CANT GAME OUT OF THROWING THEIR FIRE BOMBS. ENJOY A CREW THAT GIVES A DAMN!

I noticed something when I was making the FCS-EJP compatch...Sengoku boat battles are kinda stale. A lot of fire bombing, but something was missing...the archery was all wrong! Why are they spending so much time aiming for precise shots on the pitching deck of a BOAT FULL OF ARROWS? Yeet away, good Samurai!

Made arrows less accurate but fire as fast as they can. Fire arrows are still slow aimed shots, but of course they are very dangerous, but now the 100+ archers on one of the big boats will do serious work on any crew that gets too close.

I also rebalanced the accuracy/range of naval cannons and arqubusiers.

Only works for Sengoku era.

All this mod does is change a few entries in the projectile tables, so just load it at top and its compatible with everything.

This is taken from the FCS-EJP compatch so if you play that, you dont need this. But this works great with vanilla too!

TRUST ME. The boat battles are so much more engaging with that simple change. Go load up a custom battle with the biggest Japanese boats and a swarm of little ones and check it out.
