I don't have persmission for this re-upload however i have left a message on the original mod and will remove upon request from the original author, or update if given permission

i think the mod broke with the recent update, no longer picking up ores. tried taking it out then reinstalling the mod and still isnt working

No, plugins work fine for individual users, and there are many tailored for exactly that use-case. They just require you use the specific plugin loader for them to show up. You can find it here: https://github.com/sepluginloader/PluginLoader . Note, however, that it is a third party launcher, and plugins have MUCH freer rein in what they can do, including potentially malicious actions. The ones admitted to the "official" plugin registry are vetted by other mod/plugin authors, though, so there's at least that.

no clue what that person is talking about by plugins since i dont see it in options so send them off to pound rocks in a corner and TY for fixing this mod. I started a new world and noticed it no longer worked so here i am having to get a mod to fix something that should of been default in the game options.

also they mentioned servers so sounds like that plugin stuff is only for server host and not single player people like the rest of us.

The primary draw of plugins is that they can do things that SE does not permit standard mods to do. A good example is the plugin that enables subgrid projection (ie. you can project and construct a grid with subgrids even in survival). They're not really any more "manual", since there's a plugin registry and installer built into the main menu when running the plugin loader.

@Raidfire I, for one, have *no idea* what you are even talking about, honestly. I've been playing this game on and off over the years since the early days of SE Early Access, and I honestly do not recall anything about plugins or even a client side interface in regards to plugins.

Granted, this is probably just me speaking from a position of ignorance, but to me, this concept of plugins just sounds like: "Mods, but with extra steps," so something manual installation, rather than through 'one click' in the steam workshop.

Though whatever it is precisely, it is not readily apparent, so derps likes myself did not find/notice it; so for dummies like me that just install a bunch of mods, a installing a QoL mod like this is a given.

Because you only know what you know, and I don't know what you are getting at.

i understand it helps servers but from the people i see play the game, 90% of them don't use plugin loader (Space engineers launcher tool now) even if they understand what it does they just don't want to deal with it, even if it helps the server performance

Well thats up to induviduals. Most people still use plugin loader. Well its not pluginloader per say anymore. Its SpaceEngineers launch with it built in. And its not only plugins its client side mods also. Having certain things done on the client side is more optimized and less bloat for a server to run. You gotta remember when its server side there is going to be delays because client does this and then server registers it and then sends info back to the client. I dont think its about not wanting to modify their game its more about not understanding it(its not really modifying either its adding the launcher and pressing a new button ingame called Plugins and add whatever QOL plugin or client mod you would want. Even adding mods(offline) could be called modifying your game as it adds things that isent native to Space Engineers. But to each their person i guess. I would go for QOL and efficience tho.

@raidfire alot of players still rather use the mod then the plugin, i even have friends that refuse to get plugin loader as they dont want to modify there game, and rather leave it to mods and server side plugins

And also it doesnt matter if a server has it or not. The player can use he's own. It also detects if a server is running the mod and disables itself.

This is not needed anymore as a plugin dev has made a similar option as a client plugin that is more efficient and can also toggle on/off stone/ice pickup + other commands. Its in the plugin loader plugin list
