What is this

This mod introduces a significant number of new gene mods that are implemented Psionic Abilities.

All Psionic Gene Mods come with a price. Meld will be used in huge quantities. And almost every single one will reduce HP. But there is more. The Abilities are classified to different schools of magic. Each school buffs a different ability if chosen.

Yes there is more stil ... Most abilitiies will cost Mana to cast. Mana? YES. The moment a soldier equips a psiamp he gets a speciality slot if he doesn't have one, and can fill it with a Mana Condenser that grants a Focus system. Mana Condensers are available in unlimited quantity. Currently Implemented Focus systems: Earth Focus, Fire Focus, Necro Focus, Void Focus and Wind Focus.

All gene mods introduced in this mod are locked behind a new research. Once that research is completed, all gene mods available for use (based upon installed companion mods) will be available in the Gene Modification Chamber! If any companion mods are added AFTER the research is completed, the unlock for the related gene mods will be applied on save load. NOTE: This will NOT remove any unlocks if a companion mod is added, the game loaded, and then later removed.

And more?
Erm well yes ... there will be projects in the Proving Ground for some Psionic PCSes and Upgrades for Psi Amps (if you use Tesla Loot Mod). It is random what you get and yes it costs Meld. Also integrated some minor additional Meld Drops. It is logically incompatible with my former Mod Psionic Gene Mods.

I do release this mod a bit earlier than intended, but i kinda got burnt out, and people were asking for it. So if you find a bug or propose changes, don't hesitate to contact me.

the blood magic path of the psionic genes increases HP ... though you have to pay with HP to use the abilities. but still

Hmm, that makes sense - that with the acquisition of new psi-abilities the psionic body "dries", as in the case of the Elders. It's interesting, but given my luck and the fact that all my psi-agents are constantly with low health, I'm afraid to make a "glass cannon" out of them.

Anyway - thanks for the release, i love the original mod and hope i like this one too ))

if the psionic abilities are one of those i adapted the abilities will have a focus cost too. Else it jdoes not interact at all really
