If you've tried playing this game on Steam Deck you may have noticed that you can't get past the title screen because you can't type your name in without a keyboard. The steam keyboard UI doesn't work for this game either. I found a solution for this!



If you find yourself stuck on this page and can't type, what you'll want to do is press the steam button to your left and navigate to "Controller settings" and press "Edit Layout"

Once you're there you can manually change the buttons to letters you want to type. Depending on how long you want the name you can go back and fourth to change them.





Once you've typed everything out, you'll want to set one of the buttons as "Enter" because pressing "yes" won't actually do anything.
