Morrigan Aensland from the Darkstalkers/Vampire franchise finally has a new sprite in this fully custom animated mod made for the 2024 Horror Jam

SPECIALS
--------

Neutral Special is Soul Fist, a basic projectile. For it's design I went with the EX version, MVC did it but also it does just look cooler than the bat

Forward Special is Finishing Shower, significantly nerfed obviously. It shoots two missiles that (only kinda) home in on the opponent, this move was partly inspired by Rosso, who you can download here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3108197584

Up Special is Shadow Blade, a 3-hit Shoryuken... idk what else to say about it tbh

Down Special is Vector Drain, a command grab. Comes out extremely fast but has a tiny hitbox.
Yes, you can commit Morricide with this.

Down Special (with full meter) is Astral Vision. Morrigan will be perfectly mirrored on the other side of the stage for a limited time.

OTHER MOVES OF NOTE

Down Tilt is two hits. You have to press it again though. Like the move in the original, you can keep pressing it for more hits.

Taunt will not be hit by low attacks, this is a feature of the original game.

A: Play a Darkstalkers game and listen to those same moves.

Q: Why is [sound] so quiet?
A: Lack of audio editing software.

Q: Does she have a stage?
A: I did start working on a Darkstalkers stage, but not her's specifically, and my hearts just not in it right now sadly.

Q: Will you reskin her to make Lilith?
A: While it has crossed my mind, Lilith is much more complex than just reskinning Morrigan.

Q: Will you make another Darkstalker in the future?
A: I may.
