Introduction
The achievements are ordered chronologically, except for the general combat achievements, which are at the bottom. You will need to complete at minimum two playthroughs: one with low guilt and one with high guilt which typically involves finding all the obelisks.

If you are purely achievement hunting, you can run through the game quickly by turning on the Assist Mode option to Skip Combat. However, there are a couple of important combats you should not skip as it will also skip a player choice that is needed for some achievements. (For example, skipping the Moon Moth combat will prevent you from looting the Medallion Piece.)

If you've got tips to help improve the guide, please let me know!
Pilgrimage
Complete Act I

The next achievement is completed exclusively in Act I.
Jumpscare!
Get yelled at by the donkey

At very beginning of the game, there is a donkey just below where you start. Pet it until it yells at you.
Old Bones
Complete Act II

The next few achievements are either started or completed in Act II.

You will need Blueberries and a Shovel.
Hungry
Slaughter the lamb

At the Lonely Hut just north-east of Murzeku, there is a scared lamb in the hut. Pick the option to slaughter the lamb.

Tip: Save the game before picking the option. Reload your save for the next achievement.
Shepherd
Return the lamb home

Feed the lamb Blueberries and it will follow you. Bring the lamb to the shepherds. You can find Blueberries in bushes in the Hinterlands.
Bounty Hunter Killer
Discover the bounty hunter's hideout

In the Hinterlands, you will run into a bounty hunter. Attack him and you will loot a map that points to his hideout. Journey past the Foothills in the north-east to the Steep Path. In the Steep Path, walk right to loop around to the rocks at the bottom. Explore the path (red arrow) below the rocks.
Heartless
Doesn't like cookies

In the Fields south of Onem, a woman will offer you cookies. Say you don't like cookies.
Wall Hugger
Discover all dungeon secrets

Note: The three secrets that contribute to this achievement must be done in the same playthrough:

In Act II, travel south-east from Korni to Old Village Ruins. Listen in on the bandits there to discover their hideout. Continue heading south-east to the Bandit Hideout. After killing all the bandits, head through the trees in the top middle of the base to discover a chest.

In Act III, in the Tzuanar Temple lower level, there is a room on the right where you get a Shovel. Use the shovel on the rubble in the hallway.

In Act III, speak to the nobles in the city to get a key to the Tuxaun Cellar. Inside, there is a wall in the eastern room that can be kicked down. Use Kick four times; you will lose 1 to 2 HP each time.

Bonus: There are some additional secrets that don't count towards the achievement:

In Act II, in the Mountain Temple's first open room, use Dash II to get on the pillar and then to the other side. Loot the area and then hug the wall to the left of the hallway opening to go behind the rock. You will get a Shovel. At the end of the temple use the Shovel to open the wall there; see Moon Moth achievement.

In Act IV, at the Butte itself (see Sun Spider achievement), speak with the bandits there and pretend to know them. They will give you a password: E-X-I-L-E. You can use this password on the lock-box in the marauder stronghold.

In Act IV, at the end of the A'tagak temple (see Sun Spider achievement), use a Machete to cut the vines. There is a path down from the Sun Spider. Follow it into the darkness and defeat the enemies there. You will be rewarded with an equip-able bracelet.

In Act IV, in the Abandoned Mine after killing all the Hobs, head down and follow the hallway all the way into the darkness.
Looks Safe
Misjudge a drop 3 separate times

In Act II, in the Mountain Temple's first open room, try to jump to the pillar.

In Act IV, in The Rim, try to jump down (without using a Rope) to the lower ledge.

In Act IV, in the Abandoned Mine a couple travels east of the Salt Quarry, kill the Hobs to the right and then try to jump down the hole (without using a Rope).
Moon Moth
Kill the Moon Moth

At the end of the Mountain Temple, use a Shovel to get access to the moth's lair and kill it. You can find a Shovel in the temple (see Wall Hugger achievement) or buy one for 15 coins in Onem.
I/III
Unlock 1 obelisk

Prerequisite: Kill the Moon Moth. Do not give the Medallion Piece to Itzae yet.

After killing the Moon Moth, touch the altar and take the Medallion Piece.

Get to the Abandoned House north of the Bog; see Was It Worth It? below. Enter the house and pull the knife out of the skeleton. When the skeleton speaks, use the Dark Magic prompt and accept its deal. Follow the path east and touch the obelisk.

Afterwards, give the Medallion Piece to Itzae at the Chili Tree.
Was It Worth It?
Kill the bugs in the abandoned house

Prerequisite: Tizo must have 5 HP or higher.

The Abandoned House is found north of the Bog in Kanek lands (not to be confused with the Abandoned House near Onem). On the Bog's left side there is a pathway. Push through it until you get to the house. Kill all the bugs.
No Judgement
Let the junkie do his thing

At the Herbalist House, speak to the Herbalist and accept his quest. Bring him the Beetle Juice and respond with "what the hell" and "just pay up".
Play The Game
Bribe a newcomer

In Act II, in the Tuxaun City, confront the nobles and duel Kaax. Afterwards, accept Kaax's offer to join you and end the act with him in your party.

In Act V, in the tavern, speak with Kaax for a gift of Kanek Jewelry. Later, near the end of the train, bribe the coal shovelers with the jewelry.
Search for Glory
Complete Act III

The next few achievements are either started or completed in Act III.

You will need the Medallion Piece, a Stick, and an Antidote.

If you are going for the obelisk or high guilt achievements, there are several events that will raise your guilt:
  1. At the beginning of Act III, take the Necklace from the Graveyard west of Katzan.
  2. In the Block Fields, lift the rock and take the items.
  3. In the Burnt Forest, tell the trasgos you mean no harm, you would never steal their sticks, and offer to help dig. Take all the findings for yourself. However, you will not be able to complete the Happy Boy or Entrepreneur achievements.
  4. Do not give the donkey back to the hunter; see Stock Trader achievement.
  5. In the Hidden Camp (hunter's quest), loot the camp, read the papers, and wait in the open for the people. Afterwards, say you'll make it up for it. However, you will not get the donkey in this case.
Not For Me
Become a squash farmer

At the beginning of Act III, talk to your uncle and tell him, on second thought, you are serious about becoming a squash farmer.
Bad Gift
Make a shrine angry

At the beginning of Act III, take the Necklace from the Graveyard west of Katzan and donate it to the Shrine north of Katzan.
Mimic
Kill the Mimic

At the end of the Tzuanar Temple, open the innocent looking old chest. If you gave the Medallion Piece to Itzae, take the other half of the amulet from the Mimic. Afterwards, kill it.
Happy Boy
Cheer up a sad Trasgo

When you encounter a group of Trasgos in the Burnt Forest, tell them you mean no harm, you would never steal their sticks, and offer to help dig. Split the findings with them. There will be a sad one. Give it a Stick.
Entrepreneur
Hold 15 Sticks

One of the Trasgos in the Burnt Forest is a merchant. Sell it enough goods until you have 15 sticks.

Tip: Save the game before selling your items.
Stock Trader
Sell a donkey to Atzi

At the Hunter's House, the hunter will give you a quest to get his donkey back. Do not return it. Take the donkey to the arena (or Holy Grounds) with you. Much later on you will run into Atzi in Zurkano. Sell the donkey to him.

Tip: When you are ready to go to the other side of the river, save the game. You will load it for the Forest Alliance achievement.
Forest Alliance
Befriend the Axolotls

Prerequisite: You cannot have high guilt or the Axolotls will always attack you. At this point, as long as you didn't kill the Trasgos or keep the donkey, you should be fine.

Greet the Axolotis in Cliff City on the other side of the river and help them with their task.

Tip: Load the above save file and give the donkey back before doing this achievement.
Double Vax
Get Needled Twice

At the Waterfall on the other side of the river, walk under the waterfall and either fight or feed the Axolotls Worms. Open the overgrown chest and use Antidote on yourself.

Note: You might actually just need to get poisoned by this chest in two separate playthroughs, but I happened to use the antidote on my second time and I got the achievement.
Pignose Frog
Kill the Pignose Frog

Prerequisite: Itzae must know the Jump II ability.

Cross the river to the arena. In the Clearing, save the Newcomer Cartographer from the frogs that are chasing him. Ask him about the statue and head to the Frog Statue he marks on your map. Kill the Pignose Frog at the end of the temple.
II/III
Unlock 2 obelisks

Prerequisite: Tizo gave the Medallion Piece to Itzae in Act II.

After killing the Pignose Frog, use the Medallion on the wall above to access the obelisk.
True Supporter
Talk to all developer characters in the game

Note: It seems you must speak with all the characters that contribute to this achievement in the same playthrough.

This one is hard to pinpoint down, but there are some characters that seem to break the fourth wall:

In Act III, there is a character to speak with in Tuxaun City that comments about how cool the city is. (img 1)

At the very end of Act IV, there is a Musician in the bar that says his wife is a mathematician. (img 2)

At the bar at the beginning of Act V, there is a "drunk" that talks about pixel art. You hopefully should have the achievement by this point. (img 3)

I have a hunch that if there are any other developer characters, they would be in the tavern at the end of each of the acts. Though, the best bet is to talk to every character you see that has a speech bubble.
Legend
Earn 10th Rank in the Arena

At the Arena, do single fights until you have reached rank 10.
The Show Mustn't Go On
Get kicked out of the arena

After you are rank 10, enter the tournament. Once you reach the end of it, continue picking the resist arrest prompt until the enemies stop spawning.
Two Halves
Complete Act IV

The next few achievements are completed exclusively in Act IV.

You will need a Machete, 2 Shovels, and 2 Ropes.

Tip: You might want a second Machete to cut down Agave Hearts from trees (+2 HP heal).

If you are going for the obelisk or high guilt achievements, there are several events that will raise your guilt:
  1. In Aziya, accept the Huntress' quest to see who is poisoning the water and ignore it. You may want to go for the Toaster achievement first.
  2. In the Fauna Patch, meet the Iyo guy and head west to the Cacti Field. Give him up to the bandits.
  3. Partner up with Aabroo and bring her to her people. Pick the prompt "We had a deal!"
  4. Kill the Hermit.
  5. Kill all Hobs in the Abandoned Mine. (See Genocide achievement.)
Playground
Recover the tuag kid's ball

At the beginning of Act IV, speak to the kid in Aziya and tell him you will find his ball. You'll find it in the middle of the Fauna Patch to the east.
That Toaster
Get annoyed about a toaster

Tip: Save the game before doing this achievement and load it afterwards.

In Aziya, talk to the Huntress and complete her quest. If you don't have a Shovel yet, buy one from her for 5 coins. Buy a lot of Water. Go to the Cacti Field to the east. Dig with your shovel and keep searching for a better spot until it says you've found the perfect spot. You'll dig up a Toaster eventually. Now go to your inventory and use the toaster. (You may have to dig up some regular items first before you can attempt to search for the Toaster.)
Sun Spider
Kill the Sun Spider

At the Butte, north-east of the Cacti Fields, find the pathway in the middle of the zone. Take it to Butte itself and climb it with a Rope. View the structure in the distance. Journey to the structure A'tagak. Fight your way in and use a Machete to clear the vines. Kill the Sun Spider. If you are going for obelisks, choose to touch the shadows.

Tip: Give the new blood ability to your favorite character.
III/III
Unlock 3 obelisks

Prerequisite: You must have high guilt in order to touch the obelisk.

After killing the Sun Spider, choose to touch the shadows. Travel south-east into the desert from Motakar (bring water).

Bonus: In the Worm Territory south of Motakar, use a Shovel to dig up the treasure and kill the skeletons to get the Red Amethyst Ring.

Keep travelling until you reach the obelisk. If you have sufficient guilt, you can touch the obelisk.

Tip: Give the new blood ability to your favorite character.
Kitty Litter
Did that just happen?

In Motakar, there is a cat below the hill. Buy a fish from the vendor just below it. Talk to the cat and use the Fish prompt until it trusts you. Pet the cat until it gives you experience. Now give it the fish as a treat.

Note: The cat never actually took the fish from my inventory, so if that gets fixed, you might have to buy multiple fish.
Sheriff
Solve the ghost mystery

In Iart'a, speak with the west Trader and keep inquiring about ghosts until he gives you the Ghost Story quest. In the Stud Farm, discover the body in the bush in the top right corner. When you get to The Rim, climb down the ledge using a Rope. Investigate the singing and finish the conversation with the person there.

Tip: Save the game before climbing down; see Looks Safe.
Exterminator
Kill all the bugs in the tetl mine

In Kreg'en, speak with the Miner and agree to kill all the bugs in the Mine. Push Afur down the hole to get to the final bugs.

Bonus coins: Pick the Tetl Ore reward and buy all Tetl Ore you can from the Trader there. Sell all ore at Tek'na that is in the south. Repeat the buying and selling until there is no more ore left (about 3 trips).
Genocide
Kill the hob quarry population

In the Abandoned Mine a couple travels east of the Salt Quarry, kill all the Hobs.

Tip: The Crab Shell armor you get from killing all crabs in the cave at Rocky Outcrop (north-east of Motakar) works really well here.
Oil & Blood
Complete Act V

The next few achievements are completed exclusively in Act V.
Useless
Buy a ticket to the oilsands

Buy a train ticket from the ticket seller. You will need 3 coins.
Dark Path
Kill The Huntress

Prerequisite: You must have completed all obelisk events in the playthrough.

Get to the end of the game with high guilt and finish the final boss.
Guilty
Finish the game with high guilt

Do enough bad deeds to get your guilt high. Awarded after game credits roll. Typically this is a natural achievement at the end of an obelisk playthrough.
Not Guilty
Finish the game with low guilt

Do a lot of the good deeds that lighten your guilt throughout the game. Avoid doing any of the big high guilt deeds. Basically avoid conflict and do the right thing; for example, go to the Holy Grounds in Act III.
Stingy
Have more than 40 coins at once

Save coins until you have 40. Alternatively, in Act V, all the items you didn't use on all the characters will be automatically sold for coins.
Gotta Catch Em All
Catch 10 fish

You can catch fish at various bodies of water using Worms and other insects in Acts II, III, and IV.
Pay To Win
Use 100 items

Use items from your inventory or in combat.

Note: I don't believe this all needs to be done in a single playthrough.
Bomberman
Kill 3 enemies in one explosion

Use dynamite on a group of enemies. You can also get this as early as Act I from enemies' own explosions.
Nature Lover
Kill 10 enemies with the environment

Lead enemies into Hardbeaks and other environmental hazards like exploding plants.
Not So Useless
Kill an enemy with a rock

Itzae will acquire a Rock from helping the Trasgos. Use it to kill an enemy with 2 HP left. You may also be able to find a rock later on too.
Toxicology
Poison 10 enemies

You can poison enemies with items and abilities. There are Acid Bombs and Flasks of Sap in Act IV that poison.
Let Me Play
Stun 10 enemies

You can stun enemies with items and abilities. The characters in Act IV have a lot of abilities and items that stun.
Bully
Kill an enemy that was poisoned and stunned

This can be done easily in Act IV with an Acid Bomb or Afur's stun and a Flask of Sap.
Pinchito
Kill 3 enemies with one arrow

Use Tizo's or Afur's Pierce Buff ability along with other arrow attacks like Shoot Arrow III.
Rage
Kill 5 enemies in the same turn

This can be done easily near the end of Act IV with Chio's abilities that damage multiple enemies. After getting your dust funds back, choose Chio's plan. Once Afur is found dead, Chio will enter a rage and she will deal bonus damage and not spend any Magia.

Tip: Save the game before looting items in the factory in Act IV.
Blessed
Catch 10 fairies

Note: You must collect the fairies in the same playthrough.

While in combat, sparkling fairies will spawn occasionally with a sound effect. Similar to ghosts, they will only move while you plan your turn; however, they will float away from you, so immediately run to them.

@Lannister You can find her at the Chili Tree in the jungle. I updated the guide as well.

If you're playing for the first time, you're much better off ignoring the obelisks anyway.
Lannister 30 Jul @ 2:11pm
who is Itzae and how can i found her? how can i give amulet to her?
seems i have missed it in act 2
PewienCzlowiek 20 Jul @ 9:57am
Yeah, but you don't need him for the "true supporter" achievement.
Shempp 20 Jul @ 7:14am
some note about talking with devs characters for achievement. this is also a developer guy, in the arena in intzae`s act, just keep kiting guards and kill em slowly. there will be 3-4 waves of them and then dev`s character will pop up
Times New Roman Candles 16 Jan @ 10:38am
Quick clarification for "No Judgement" -- after saying "What the hell...?" (and not fighting the herbalist), you must select "Just pay up." at the end or the achievement will not trigger. Selecting "You're depraved." at the end counts as judgement.
elmadraka 14 Dec, 2024 @ 3:20am
At the end of act III you can only talk to the guitarrist and the ones playing cards clip here
PewienCzlowiek 13 Dec, 2024 @ 11:57pm
I'm pretty sure there are 4 guys to talk to, wasn't there a guy in the tavern at the end of act III too?
elmadraka 13 Dec, 2024 @ 12:30pm
For the true supporter I think you have to talk to:
1. On Tuxaun City act III
2. At the very end of act IV
3. At the very beginning of act V

I'm not sure of the 2nd one but I got the achievmenet talking to these 3 "rare" characters on the same run
oasic  [author] 11 Dec, 2024 @ 9:54pm
Glad the guide could be of some use! There's still some specifics that I wish I had like the exact NPCs to speak to for True Supporter. If anyone remembers any characters that sort of break the fourth wall and talk about game stuff, let me know and I'll add it to the guide.

For Blessed, I responded to your Discussion thread, but the TLDR is that I don't think restarting combats will work.
