Description
Vanilla forestries auto-plant trees based on the soil of the tile the trees are planted on. Use this mod to choose what type of tree grows in your forestries, or spice up your forestries with a custom mix of trees.

To use: From the Objects menu, place Tree Type Selectors in or near your Forestries. Click on a Tree Type Selector and select the types you want, then unpause the game. If you select more than one type, each tree within range will become a random tree from your selected types. The range can be set to either 10 tiles or 50 tiles. Trees are only changed once unless you click Reset Trees. Trees and range are set individually for each Tree Type Selector.

NB: The Tree Type Selector can't distinguish between trees inside a forestry and trees outside a forestry. If you have decorative trees which you don't want changed, place a Tree Protector (from the Staff menu, NOT the objects menu) on each of these trees BEFORE using the Tree Type Selector. If you forgot and your decorative trees have already changed, select the type that they were previously and click Reset Trees to change them back, then place the Tree Protector.

If the Tree Type Selector menu is too long, move your camera so that the Tree Type Selector is nearer the top of the screen, and click the top of the Tree Type Selector.

Does not affect Going Green crop fruit trees.
