Monumental

Description
Gm_Monumental is a dark, brutalistic and rainy city landscape.
A smaller map i made over a few weeks, no big secrets this time, just enjoy exploring this colorful, dystopian city district.

Contains:
  • Medium sized concrete jungle
  • Ai Nodes and navmesh
  • Cubemaps
  • A few easter eggs and references

Custom skybox taken from https://jacobdeanr.github.io/Source_Skyboxes/
Everything else is default HL2 assets

wonderful map with a lot of cozy nooks among the relentless rain. I enjoyed the setpieces and the light puzzling, which added some fun interactivity. everything a gmod exploration map could aspire to be

Monumental. Good name and good qualifier. I think that's one of the best maps I've tested in a while. I found a few easter eggs, idk if I got all of them. I might need some guiding for the big one tho.

After entering the room with the monolith and wires, is there anything to do ? Also found the Umbrella Man behind the spawn, the cat room and the blaring train. You spooped me with that one.

All in all, great work.
