with the new way beam will work it may even be possible to make working phaser strips

Definitely start small. A runabout would be a fun one, or maybe even the venture class mission craft from Insurrection. Saves you getting burnt out and would be adding something that isn't already in the wider community.

Love your work on this; one of my favourite ST ship designs. Wondering if you wanted any help doing the interior logic (no experience but willing to learn). Would be really cool to have a functioning star ship in multiplayer.

Yeah sorry, I had some family stuff pop up and i've been waiting for my creative juices to return.

Any updates on this project? I kind of want to standardize my docking ports using your format. It looks way better than mine, lol. Also, do you use a standardized deck height? I've just been using the old minecraft 3m height with 1m separation.
