There is pactically decent way to make money for last part of the game.
Any password detector in inventory with fewer than 20 charges. Go to trading machine. Sell password detector (you'll get minus charges). Switch to 'buy' tab right away, switch back to 'sell'. Sell it again. +100 money every sell. Get rich.
Important do not leave/close trading machine right after you sell detector or it'll gone, you can buy new one tho. Do not hit 'Sell all' too.

Works in 0.5.0.3 until... patched. Devs already lurking around this 'problem'.

Also you can save moneyz on costumes too. Buy costume, go 'mirror' (use it) and costume will be saved in wardrobe. reload last save. Repeat. Costumes added, moneyz stay same.

I found it easier way to make money was when you are turning the power on for lift just don't activate other turbines after first one, collect the gems and money and buy zombie killers have them kill the zombies as they keep spawning in.
