Alien snakes with breasts are one thing, but DRAGONS?...looking to enlist with XCOM?...
Now I've seen it all."
- C.O. Bradford

IMPORTANT:
This mod contains custom heads and relies on custom shaders to work properly - you MUST have X2WOTCCommunityHighlander installed when using mods with custom heads/shaders!

All Armour Avenger and Configurable Headshots are not hard requirements for the mod to work, but subscribing to them alongside this mod will fix a lot of visual jank caused by the new dragon cosmetics.

Mod Info:
This cosmetics mod adds the heads, arms, legs, wings and tails of the fearless Dovah/dragons from TES:V Skyrim to your XCOM 2 campaign. Variations of all 3 base-game armor tiers, as well as helmets and face props, have been custom made for the dragons and are all readily available to use at any point in your current save. You will find all of the dragon heads located inside 'Race 0'.

The dragons included are as follows:
- Earth Dragon
- Frost Dragon
- Blood Dragon
- Elder Dragon
- Ancient Dragon
- Revered Dragon
- Legendary Dragon
- Odahviing
- Paarthurnax
- Alduin

Each head type (excluding Alduin and Paarthurnax) has 11 skin variations, including a tinted version which uses the X2 color palette.

***PLEASE NOTE that not all of the armors shown in the previews (like the Daedric armor and formal suit) are from this mod!***

The gear options provided include:
  • 90 Heads
  • 18 Helmets
  • 17 Upper Face Props
  • 17 Lower Face Props
  • 26 Torsos
  • 11 Torso Gears
  • 19 Right Arms
  • 19 Left Arms
  • 43 Thigh Gears
  • 19 Legs
  • 29 Shin Gears

**These cosmetics are male only.**

Well, after 2+ months of excruciatingly tedious, mind-numbing work, my greatest achievement is finally complete. What started as a mere "what if" mod idea/experiment quickly blossomed into my most ambitious project to date. Skyrim is my favorite game of all time, and the dragons/Dovah from its main story have captivated me for years. They even inspired the look of my main mascot - Ragma - whom is displayed in my Steam avatar. All of this is to say how much I love these majestic beasts, and from the very moment I learned how to add cosmetics into XCOM 2 I've wondered if it was possible to get them into the game.. and now here we are! I was tired of seeing these guys presented as the villains, so now they get to be the heroes for a change. This has taken so much of my free time to finish, but it was worth every minute of it, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Of course, I did not do this alone.

Max (Architectus Carnis) graciously helped me by adding proper physics-based properties to the wings and tails - enhancing the quality of the mod and saving me lots of valuable time. He was also the one who helped me realize this mod in the first place, as he provided me with all of the models and textures by extracting them directly from Skyrim. Without him, this whole mod would have been impossible to make.

There were many others who helped me in my endeavors, and you can find them listed down in the credits.

Now, some of you may notice that these cosmetics are male-only, and unfortunately that is the way it's going to stay. It took me weeks to compile all the body parts for the male gender, and I have no energy/motivation left to do the same for the other gender. I'm sorry if this is disappointing to you, but I simply cannot bring myself to repeat that process over again. Apologies for that.

However, if you are a modder and would like to make your own cosmetics compatible with the dragons for either public or private use, I have good news for you! Here are the uncooked mod files available for you to download, explore and alter to your heart's content: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1uDIcu3xR_dq4qymq3LUmuoN3AwMBd1MD?usp=drive_link

The only stipulation I add is that if you wish to publish a public mod with any of these files included, please credit myself (Unslain) and Max in the description of your own project.

As a final note, this will probably be the last mod that I publish for a while. I recently landed a good paying full-time job, and I will have a lot less time to dedicate to my mod projects as a result. You may see an upload or two here and there, but do not expect anything more than a mod a month, if even that.

Anyways, I've rambled on long enough. Have a blessed day, and may God be with you in everything that you do.

Credits:
- Christ, for giving me the strength to push through and finish this nightmare of a mod.
- Bethesda, for making the models.
- Max, for ripping the models/textures, adding physics to the wings and tails, correctly formatting the Config/Localization files, and providing some of the preview screenshots.
- Fancyneer, for helping me understand the basics of adding physics to body parts.
- Aidan/LesterTheTerran, sdark, Basedymuss, Philip, Styrium, Vaultwulf and Fancyneer (again) for their kind encouragement of my work throughout the modding process.

Unfortunately the mod will likely stay as-is in terms of content. It was a headache to put everything together, especially code-wise, so I do not have any plans to add more heads. Sorry to disappoint.

Understandable if you are simply too busy, but are you going to add Durnehviir cosmetics to the mod at some point? had a great idea for a necromancer dragon unit and Durnehviir's model would suit that perfectly (ideally with texture variants too like an alduin one, but even if it was just his regular model that would be awesome)

Gotcha. Glad you were able to pinpoint the problem.

okay, seems like the unrestricted customisation mod caused the issue i had. without it it works fine.

Yes

should i delete the whole config folder?

Strange. The only advice I can offer you is to try deleting your 'Config' file under this pathway: C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame. Next, run XCOM 2 a couple of times to regenerate the 'Config' folder and then check to see if the wings/tails show up.

Beyond that I really don’t know what the solution could be.

when i randomise my cosmetics it sometimes puts a tail or wing in the thigh slot and that works fine, but if i try selecting a tail or wings myself it just dosnt do anything
