Overview
You have 4 lives, destroy as many enemies as possible. With each new life you'll be joined by ghosts of your previous lives. Complete an entire episode (5 arenas) to earn a highscore.

Start Campaign mode by selecting the Play button on the lower right hand side of the Episode Select menu.

Weapons
After selecting play you'll spawn in the Clone room. Before you can enter the first arena you'll need to select a weapon. Weapons don't cost anything so choose any weapon you want.

The weapon you choose for each of your 4 lives will be their weapon for the entire episode.

Enemies
There are several enemy types in the game. Majority of the enemies will drop gold when destroyed, some drop more than others, making them more valuable to destroy.

Enemy Type
Description
Red Block
Easiest enemy, gives 10 gold when destroyed
White Block
Gives 20 gold when destroyed
Gold Block
Most difficult block to destroy, but will give you 200 gold
Popper
These enemies pop open & close. They'll give you 50 gold but you need to shoot the core to destroy them
Caveworm
Gives 1,000 gold when destroyed
Boss
Counts towards the total enemies in the arena but will not drop any gold when destroyed
Inner Sphere
This enemy appears inside the sphere on episode 2 arena 3. It counts towards the arena enemy total, has a nice visual effect when destroyed, but doesn't drop gold
Door Locks
These don't drop gold and don't count towards the total number of enemies in the arena, but you need to destroy them in order to access additional areas & enemies in an arena
Gold
When you destroy an enemy it will drop either small gold or silver blocks. Gold blocks are worth 10 per block. Silver blocks have previously been collected and worth 1 per block.

You share gold with your ghosts so no need to compete for collecting it.

You need to be located close to the gold in order to collect it.

Upgrades
Once you've collected some gold you'll be able to purchase weapon upgrades from the Upgrade Selection menu in the Clone Room.

Upgrades increase in price each time one is purchased. The bottom of the Upgrade Selection menu tells you the cost of the next two upgrades. If the font is yellow it means you have enough gold to purchase that upgrade, but if it's red you can't afford it. A red border also appears on the upgrades when you can't afford any more upgrades.

Highscores
Each arena has a Remaining board which displays how many enemies there are. Get 100% by destroying all the enemies, or you can take it a step further and get over 100% by completing arenas with less than 4 lives.

The How do Highscores Work? guide provides more details.

At the end of the episode highscores are added to the Global Leaderboard. These leaderboards can be viewed by clicking the trophy icon on the Episode Select menu.

By default, the Global Leaderboards will display your current ranking. You can also choose to sort by Global & Friends.
