Enhanced Promotions

Description
This mod overhauls the Beyond Earth Promotion System, increasing experience gain, removing Exp limits against aliens and vastly increasing the number of available promotions.

Features
- 14 New Promotions for each basic unit type, except submarines which get 18. Additionally 13 promotions for recon units that gain experience (default explorer's don't, but mods exist that add them), for a total of 130 (+13) Promotions.
- No Exp Cap when fighting Aliens
- More levelups (Increased Exp gain for some actions and reduced Exp needed for next level)

Notes
This mod is designed for those who enjoy seeing their units improve. Those who treasure their veterans and try to keep their old units alive. What it does not really consider is the effect on overall game balance, which was designed around not having vast promotion-sprees. Probable consequences:
- Tougher Major Civilizations
- Easier Aliens

Known Issues
- The submarine promotion that removes invisibility doesn't. Wasn't able to make that work, I'll see whether I can make it happen in v3.
- Athritic Patch cycles: I fix anything that's broken whenever I play Civilization Beyond Earth (and manage to pull it off). That just doesn't happen as often as I'd like, given some serious real life commitments. And Paradox Entertainment. They definitely get to share in the blame.

Thanks. This also explains why I wasn't seeing anything because the vision I was being granted from other factors (quest rewards, and two wonders I believe) were in some cases pushing vision of units at 6 hexes worth, so if Recon gives them a flat value (as opposed to addative) it makes sense why I didn't see any changes.
I wasn't expecting anything tbh, so if you do happen to have that onenote sheet still that'd be great. Thanks for the response!

Hi Rizz,

I've abandoned most of my modding stuff due to lack of time (RL can be a distraction). So I'm not likely to update a mod anymore. That said, the recon promotion grants your aircrafts the "Recon" ability, as it was known in Civ V (at least if it still works). This means it grants you a 6 hex radius of sight, unobstructed by any obstacles (hills, mountains, ...).
I never did a full list of all promotions outside my own onenote sheet when planning this mod, sorry. I can see whether I still have it lying around somewhere, but won't promise anything.

Cheers
