▶️ Tip: You do not need to have learned recipes to cook them! Simply input the correct ingredients in the empty slots on the cooking menu. Incorrect ingredients will result in Inedible Goop, which if consumed will cause temporary player sickness.

Some recipes require ingredients from multiple seasons. It's helpful to keep a small stock of ingredients on hand to prevent having to wait for a season to roll around to complete a recipe. Try keeping track of which recipes you're aiming to cook and what ingredients they call for in a note, so you know what you need to store in ice boxes.

You also want to be sure you've gotten milk and eggs from your farm animals before winter, as if you happen to mismanage your straw stockpile, your livestock may perish and you won't have access to obtain these ingredients.

I found the following recipes to be the easiest to repeatedly make which helped me reach the max level in my cooking skill:
– basic breakfast
– bread and cheese
– journey cake
– rack of goat

Master Chef — "Cook every recipe."
You can keep track of which recipes you've made by looking for a checkmark at the top right of each food icon in the cookbook. If there's no check, you haven't cooked it. If the item is greyed out, you haven't obtained the recipe. Make each recipe once, along with Inedible Goop (*see Tip at the beginning of this guide) to get the achievement.
