The largest and most hidden cave in the game. (Olympus map).
Beautiful, safe, full of resources.
A good place for a large and safe base.

Short description

The largest cave in the game.
It is located in a beautiful and safe place.
Surrounded by water and waterfalls.
There are a lot of ores inside.
This cave is so big that it is possible to get lost. :-)

Some watch-outs:
the water is tainted, the fish attack and the cave has disease that requires a humidifier to overcome.
Not super bad, you can kill the fish with one hit of the axe.

Detailed description

Pros:

This cave is the largest in the game. It is simply huge! I can safely build my large base here. Here I do not have to constantly be distracted by enemy attacks. Here I do not have to spend a lot of resources and time on protecting and defending the base.
There are no worms inside this cave.
There are a lot of different ores inside this cave.
The pond around the cave serves as an impassable moat for my base for enemies. No one swims here and attacks my base.
The fish in this pond serve as a very easy source of meat food. Fish are killed with one blow of an ax.
This is a quiet and beautiful place surrounded by two waterfalls.

Cons:

The water near the cave is contaminated, but no more than any other water from the surrounding reservoirs. This contamination goes away on its own quite quickly. For a source of clean drinking water, it is possible to install a device for collecting rainwater.
Fish attack, but their attacks are barely noticeable. I easily swim from the cave to the shore and do not pay attention to the fish.
I consider myself that fish are my protection from strangers coming here, ahahaha))
In addition, fish are very easily killed with one blow and serve as a source of meat.
After a long stay in the cave, cave disease is possible. Personally, I hardly noticed it. This problem is solved with a humidifier.

Summary:

Depending on the priorities of your playing style, this cave can be useful to you in the following cases:

This is one of the most beautiful and inconspicuous places in the game. The cave is hidden between two large waterfalls and to get to its entrance, you need to swim a little.
Here you can mine a large number of different ores without fear of worms.
Here you can safely build your large base.
Here you do not need to be constantly distracted by enemy attacks. Here you don't have to spend a lot of resources and time on protecting and defending the base.

Apart from everything else, this cave is great, for example, for:

Starting in the game. To start learning the game. When your character is still at a low level and there is no desire to constantly fight and run away from predators.
When it is still difficult for you to run across the entire map in search of rare resources. You can find many rare ores in this large and safe cave.
For playing on "free weekends", when you want to have time to develop as much as possible and succeed in building in the game during the allotted weekend.
For fans of large construction sites and not fans of endless battles.
For building a large base without wasting time and resources on protecting your base.

For me personally, it was important to find such a large and quiet place for building my base that animals would not attack. And this cave became the ideal option for this, because:
1) This cave is the largest in the game. It is simply huge! I can safely build my large base here. Here I do not need to be constantly distracted by enemy attacks. Here I do not need to spend a lot of resources on protecting and defending the base.
2) There are no worms inside this cave.
3) The pond around the cave serves as an impassable moat for my base for enemies. No one swims here and attacks my base.
And the fish in this pond serve as a very easy source of meat food.

Before this, I tried to build my base in several other caves and I was constantly distracted by animal attacks there. I was especially annoyed by the bears there, who constantly came and destroyed my base.
In this cave there is no such problem with bears and animal attacks, and I am very happy!

Regarding some watch-outs:
- The water near the cave is contaminated, but nothing more than any other water from the reservoirs around. This contamination goes away on its own quite quickly.

- Regarding the cave disease. I hardly noticed it. Firstly, as you correctly noted, this problem is solved by a humidifier.
Secondly, for me the most important thing was that there are no worms in this cave! :-)

I just found this in game, thanks to your post. It is awesome!! There are gold and platinum nodes in the cave, water and fish outside. Some watch-outs: the water is tainted, the fish attack and the cave has disease that requires a humidifier to overcome. Not super bad, you can kill the fish with one hit of the axe.
