For Warrior, I believe I used Cosmic petal (+1 roll), Really big sword (Double coin drops) and Stone heart (Double shield). The skill is more reliable than Savant's and easier to trigger.
I'm not sure if it was even a good idea, but for Craftsman, I used Ouroboros Bracelet, Chrono Medallion and possibly there was even an Artist companion. The idea was to scale at an absurd pace, but the early game may be difficult.
For Warlock, I believe I used Mysterious Object, Song Of The Dead and Really Big Sword.
For Vampire, I can't remember the other trinkets, but Mysterious Object halves the soul cost of the hero ability.
Shapeshifter has a possible glitch that if her Complete all slots ability is used in conjunction with a companion whose skill slot would normally get locked after defeating the enemies, the skill slot doesn't get locked. For instance the Gambler is very powerful for after-the-battle rolls.
I believe I used Old King's Ashes to pad Blood Mage's health so her ability was useful for a good bit while she was gaining momentum in other ways.
