Intro
So let's say, in a totally hypothetical non-personal situation, you're a Holocure lover who has never played Jump King before and stumble across Tower of Suffering. Let's also hypothetically say that this minigame caused you supreme agony and you wish to suffer less. Well, that's what I'm here for! I'll go through all the tips and setups I personally used in order to finish the Tower. Even with what I say, you will probably fail and fall often, but hopefully it will be a few times less.

Starting Notes:
Before we get into specifics, let's talk about a few things.

How to actually play the game
On Keyboard, the controls are as follows: You can walk around with the right/left arrow keys and jump with Z. You can jump straight up, which is useful for gauging height or collecting coins, or in either the left/right directions. When jumping, you can charge the jump up to a certain amount of time, which will change the height and trajectory of the arc of your jump. There's a visual bar which shows how charged up your current jump is. I will refer to this bar using rough percentages a few times during this guide if there's no other choice. Side note, the fully charged side of the bar can be a bit misleading, as I often thought I was holding long enough for a full charge but was not.

Also of vital importance to note is the player can bounce off of walls and the side of platforms while jumping, which gives a very useful shallow bounce. This will be used extremely often, as it's often more consistent.

Holocoins:
There are Holocoins scattered throughout the tower in various places. With 100 of these coins, you can purchase a permanent checkpoint, which is obviously incredibly useful. You should be picking them up when they're in easy to reach spots, but with that said...

Do yourself a favor and don't go for the coins in hard to reach places
Well, not initially at least. One of the very powerful things about checkpoints is you can dive down and collect difficult coins from above and then respawn back at the checkpoint with no danger to your actual progression. Thus, why you should go back and collect your missing coins after dropping checkpoints.

Checkpoints
As mentioned, this minigame has them. Across the whole of the minigame, you will get about 4 of them if you collect all the coins, so use your checkpoints very wisely. I will give a few recommendations of places you might use them, but different parts will be soul-crushing for different people. Use one or two if you must for sanity's sake.

Skill Factor
There are many jumps that have no particular strategy, but rather just take timing and gamefeel. I can't help with that unfortunately, and you will just have to continue playing through the early awkwardness. There really isn't any helping that. All I can do is make the jumps I do know how to make easier, easier.

Save/Exit
At the current moment, if you save and exit while falling, you will be where you fell from upon reloading. This is useful tech, but with a few caveats. The Save/Exit button is not the first button in the pause menu, so you have to pre-set your cursor there. It's also very possible to accidentally click restart while doing this. Mostly importantly, time does not stop during the pause. Therefore, it is only useful to Save/Exit if you have enough time to actually save and exit before you hit the ground.

Disclaimer
I know literally nothing about Jump King
I cannot compare this game in any way to the tech or feel of Jump King, because I've literally never played that game. If someone has advice for how to better word something than how I do or tech to make the game easier, feel free to share it with me.

Also, the strategies I discuss are not the only or best strategies, just the ones I used. If you found something easier or for a jump I didn't discuss feel free to share it to save the suffering of others.
The Suffering Begins (0%-27%)
Originally I skipped the first few % on this guide, but I feel inclined to go into more detail, straight from 1%. There will be video footage of all my explanations for this section linked at the bottom.

From where you start, Full jump right twice. For the second one, you'll need to go left on stair 2 to get enough space. Alternatively, just jump up.

From the top of the stairs, do a full jump left, which should put you directly by a candle. Go slightly to the right of the candle and do a full jump left to wall bonk. When you land on the platform above, line yourself up with the grassy foliage on the wall and full jump right.

You should, once again, find yourself by a candle. Stand to the left of the candle and do a full jump left to bounce off the lip of the plaform above. From exactly where you land, do a full jump left.

The jump at 5% to the candle/statue is unfortunately setupless. It should be above 50-60% power. Line your character up with the statue and do a full jump left, followed by a full jump right. Stand on the holocoin and do a 50-60% jump.

From 7%, you're going to full jump left and then do alternating full jumps up the rising platforms

At 9%, do a left full jump to bounce off the left screen side and then do the same on the next platform. You should now be on the platform with the square block in the middle.

Stand on the square block and full jump right to land at the jail bars. Get as far left as possible and full jump right. On the platform you land on, full jump left to the next one.

This jump at 12% has no buffer unfortunately, somewhere in the range of 75%-80% should work.

From where you land at 13%, full jump left to wall bonk to the above platform. No buffer to get to the slightly higher platform next to the Listener.

Starting at 16%, there's a jump from a chandelier to a platform. This exact sort of jump will become extremely common for the rest of the tower, so best get used to it now. To make this jump, tap the jump button as lightly as physically possible. I'm going to call it a Short Hop for the sake of the guide, regardless of what it's called in Jump King runs proper.

Update: At 17%, line your character up with the middle statue. Full jump left to land on the left alcove. Run straight at the wall, and once as far left as possible, proceed to do 4 full left jumps. After the 3rd one, you'll take a falling animation. When this happens, be sure to press jump before the direction so the character does not move. If all is well, you should be on the right platform at 19%. From here, take the smallest step left and full jump left. This is fairly precise.

From here, jump full right, followed by full left. You should land on a coin. Jump full right again. In order to line up for the next jump, jump to the left platform (no buffer, but pretty lenient). Stand roughly in the middle here and do a full jump right to skip a few platforms.

At 22%, get close to the right side and do a full jump right.

At 24%, this slightly tricky looking jump can be done by standing at the right edge of the platform and doing a fully charged jump left.

At 25%, you can skip a tougher jump by standing on the right edge of this platform and full jumping left in order to bounce of the higher platform's side.

Edit: Here's a video I just made for this section with as many jumps being fully charged for consistency's sake as possible. It IS worth noting some of the jumps are slightly more complicated or precise in this form, but they are consistent.

Dungeon/Colosseum (27%-49%)
Congrats! You Made it to the first area change!

Here on the first platform of the new palette, there should be a black circle on the pillar by the left side. Line the character's right leg up with the pillar and full jump right.

At 29%, I took the left path. For the bridge jump, jump from the left of the opening.

Hi Nerissa!

The jump at 31% to the holocoin doesn't have a setup as far as I can tell unfortunately.

Every jump at 34% should be a short hop. Get as much distance as you can from your next platform for safety.

At 36% we begin our next subsection. Here's the path I took through it:
Firstly, I jumped up to the first platform on the right. Once there, full jump to the right to reach the above platform

From here, bounce oddly up to the right with a jump.

Next, do two full jump right onto the platform with the block, followed by another full jump right. If I'm correct, you should now be on top of the block.

You will have to jump left with about half power to the block floating by its lonesome. There isn't a great setup for this, but the stakes are rather low.

From here, you should be able to jump to the platform to your left, and then up out of the maze. Most falls in this subsection don't lose too much progress, so you can be slightly less afraid.

As for the stairs at 40/41%, jump to the right, do a full jump left onto the 2nd highest step, and then full bonk left to reach the above platform. (Red lines in the image below are full charges. Credit to Legendary_Pups for both the image and strategy. Thanks!)

At 46% percent we're introduced to our good friend, crumbling platforms. Everyone say hi! The platforms will respawn after a few seconds after crumbling. Really, the platforms moreso are just a source of stress. I set my next checkpoint at 48%, which turned out to be a source of intense agony for me moving forward.
My Personal Hell/Overgrown Library (50%-85%)
If any section is likely to stop you in your tracks, this is the one. Take breaks if you need to, and plan to use a checkpoint to split up this section.

To start off the tricky jumps, this jump at 52% is one I found works best if you stand at the left edge and do a 85%-ish jump. It's better to overshoot, as you land on the crumbling platform below and have a chance to reset and try again.

Once you've arrived at the 53% left platform, stand in the middle and do a full jump to the left.

On the furthest left 55% platform, you'll once again want to stand in the middle and do a full jump left.

58% very well could be the death of you.
There are massive stakes here, but it is relatively consistent. Firstly, line yourself up with the window under the block here on the left.

Next, you're going to do about a 90% jump to the right. This is mostly timing, but this particular jump is less dangerous than the others. You could potentially do the exact same strategy on the other side of the platform, but the risks for failing are 100x worse.

Once you are on a gray solo block, get as much distance right as you safely can and do a full jump left. Repeat this until you see the wooden platforms at 60%.

For this jump to the left platform, it is infinitely better to undershoot than over. If you undershoot slightly, you'll bounce back to the platform you're on. Just keep trying 50% jumps and don't get impatient.

If you made it to the left platform at 62%, congrats. Pray you don't fall again. You probably will, but put that off as long as you can. For the next two jumps up, jump right and bonk of the walls.

Here at 64%, do not, I repeat, DO NOT just try falling down onto the platform below. Despite what you might assume, the falling physics are very strange. You will not fall down here, but rather just down and to the right, completely missing the platform. Instead, get to the edge of the platform and do a full jump right. From this small platform you should have landed on, do a short hop with as much distance from your target as you can make.

If you made it to 64% part 2, great job! This subsection is more confined and generally slightly more safe than what you've just been through. Mostly.

Firstly, you're going to stand here on the left just under the wall and do a full jump onto this platform.

You then have a jump left and then back right on the two gaps where the walls separate on either side. You should end up Here, where you'll jump to the floating platform on the left side above.

This next jump sucks. It's safe, but it's wildly annoying. Jump to the wall protrustion just to your left. It's a very small jump and randomly very precise. It will likely take you a few tries every time you get here (which will be many times).

From here, jump to the floating vertical log in the middle. This jump is tricky and unfortunately has no real tips. If you overshoot and land on the right wall, you can do a full jump left to reset (and do the fun short wall jump again yay!).

Once here, you're so close to home free (from this subsection lol). Do a full jump left to the leftmost gray block and then do another full jump left to the platform in the middle.

As for 69%, to directly quote a comment, "at 69% if you stand where you're basically floating in the air on the left, then full jump to the right, you always land on the right walltop. The next jump from 70% is tricky, as you need roughly an 80% charge jump to make it to 71%.

If you fail however, it's pretty free to get back. You fall down to the stone just under 69%. From there you can full jump right to get back to the floating vertical log in the middle at 68%." (Thanks to CatZombies for the strategy!)

Here at 71% is where I set my 3rd checkpoint. You can set it higher or lower, but I promise, you'll want to save one for the final section.

After doing some nice wall bonks, you'll reach the room at 75%. Wallbounce on the left wall to the first short hop platform (Credit to Apelsinsaft!)

At 80%, I personally chose the left path, but both are likely equally valid. With that said, I will be discussing the left path.

Go to the leftmost floating platform and do a fulljump right to the first set of gray metal blocks. From here, do some longer jumps until you reach this platform at 83%

From here, do a full jump left and bonk off the wall to the higher platform. Once here, do a full jump right to land in between the stone platforms.

Get very comfortable with these two jumps.
The Final Stretch (85%-100%)
If you've made it this far, congratulations!

84% is your new home.

I was here, mostly the next 5%, for 30 minutes or so. That may say more about me than the game though. This next jump is my least favorite in the whole game. The best I could find is to get as far right as possible on the platform and do a 70% jump left. It's very precise and also rather punishing. If you overshoot, do the previous two jumps mentioned. If you fall off the right side, do a full left jump from here and do the previous two jumps mentioned.

Once you finally get on that left stone wall, it does not get easier. After a short hop onto the right wall and a 50% jump onto the platform with the guardrail on the right, do another short hop onto the floating platform.

Once you reach 86%, do a full jump left to land above. Proceed to do a short hop to the vertical platform to your left.

This is my second least favorite jump in the game. It's pretty punishing and pretty precise. I used about 80%, but it's somewhere in that zone. Here on this platform at 88% I immediately used my final checkpoint so as to not have to do the worst jumps again, but if you're feeling greedy, the next two jumps are pretty consistent. Full jump right to bounce off the wall and then full jump left. From there it's an easy jump to reach 90%.

If you have not used a checkpoint yet, I would highly recommend it. There are a few highly punishing jumps.

To get started, jump to the portrusion on the left and run against the wall. From here, do a full jump right onto the floating vertical platform. The jump can be a bit finnicky and you may bounce a few times, but it's very safe and much more consistent than the other option.

From this spot, do a full jump left to bonk off the wall.

At 93%, once again do a full jump left to bonk.

And the same at this platform on 94%.

Here at 94%/95%, jump to the left gap in the wall. This can be a punishing jump, but it's also fairly forgiving in terms of space to land on. You may wonder why not to jump to the 1 block on the right? When I tried to bounce off the wall, I went straight through the wall and fell 20% or so. So yeah, either a troll or a bug. Either way, I would not recommend.

The next jump at 95% is fairly tight, but not ridiculously so. The next few jumps are all pretty big jumps, but don't have a particularly setup. Don't get hasty.

If you make it to the either side platform at 98%, I don't want to call a winning run, but you're pretty much there.

Do not get flustered. Stand in the middle of the platform and do a full jump away from the tower (right, if you're on the right side), and then towards the tower. You'll land on a crumbling platform. A simple medium jump will do, but you have a good amount of space.

Congrats! You made it! You got a funny steam achievement and potentially a few hours of pain you'll never get back!

This video shows all coins + no checkpoints: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYM2CvjK8t0

The right side of 63% could've been a full jump by standing at the tip of the ledge though.

I found 2 more comfy skip on full charge.

I wouldn’t use the left one due to the danger of falling, but in order to collect the coins I had to fall a couple of times and checked the reality of this jump - it works
