sus mods are nothing new in the steam workshop, today i will teach you about them.
if you download a mod and it says the mod is sus in the mod menu,

one: go to the steam page and check who made it. devs like quckness, INT team just_baget ect. that are well known can be trusted, i use there mods and they work amazing

two; check the coments if they aren't filled with copypastas, people let the coments know if the mod did something bad

three: go into the code and see your self. ( if you have working braincells)

four: as a last effort try contacting who made the mod if you can
