I already use a custom folder, any mod from the workshop i just extract their files into the custom folder. This method keeps the files safe so that in the event someone deletes their work on the workshop, i will still keep the files.
ok, now i understand how it works.
1. open hud_textures.txt file in Half-Life 2\hl2\scripts folder
2. find the plushair section and change the values as follows:
"character" "Q" --> "character" " "
If you want to use it in episode 2, you will have to copy the hud_textures.txt file to your custom folder:
1. open Half-Life 2\hl2 folder
2. create custom\no_airboat_crosshair\scripts folders
3. copy hud_textures.txt file to scripts folder
