Introduction
The economy in CS2 determines your team’s ability to purchase weapons and utilities each round. Money is earned in various ways, such as:
  • Kills.
  • Round outcomes.
  • Actions related to the C4 (planting, defusing).

The key to mastering the economy is understanding when to buy, when to save, and how to maximize rewards.
Rewards for Kills
The money earned per kill depends on the weapon used:

$5000+

$0–$1000
Half-Buy
Buy cheap weapons and gear.
To compete minimally while saving.
$1000–$3000
Force Buy
Spend all available money.
When you need to win the round.
Variable
Anti-Eco
Buy SMGs or shotguns to take advantage of the economy.
When the enemy is likely in an eco round.
$2000–$3000
Hero Buy
One player buys a rifle while others save.
When one player can "carry" the round.
$3000–$4000(Hero)

Details of each strategy
  • Full Buy:
    Ideal purchase for coordinated teams.
Terrorists: rifles (AK-47), armor, and grenades.
Counter-Terrorists: rifles (M4A1-S/M4A4), defuse kit, and utilities.

  • Eco Round:
Completely saving prepares you for future rounds.
    Useful in economic recovery rounds.
Pistols like the P250 are a good option.

  • Half-Buy:
Partial investment to fight the round and secure a full buy in the next one.
    Example: buy Deagle + vest.

  • Force Buy:
A risky but necessary round when the team cannot afford to lose.
Usually includes SMGs, shotguns, and a vest.

  • Anti-Eco:
Ideal to maximize income when you know the enemy has no weapons.
    Example: MP9, MAC-10, or shotguns.

  • Hero Buy:
One player buys full gear to try to "carry" the round.
Economy and Role of AWPer
EQUIPMENT
COST
AWP
$4750
Vest and Helmet
$1000
Grenades
$300 – $1200
Approximate Total Cost
$6000

Considerations for AWPers:

  • Prioritize Saving
An AWP costs $4750. Always make sure to have enough money to buy it.

  • Buy in Force Rounds
If you can’t buy an AWP, opt for the SSG 08 (Scout - $1700).

  • Saving After Lost Rounds
If necessary, saving the AWP for the next round can be more valuable than trying to win a 1vX situation.

  • Utility
Save smoke grenades and flashes to secure key positions and/or escape.
Advanced Economy Strategies
  • Double Eco Plan
If your team has very little money, save for two consecutive rounds to ensure a full buy in the third.

  • Stacking Sites
In eco rounds, group the entire team at a single site to increase the chances of success.

  • Fake Buys
Make the enemy believe you’ve bought rifles when you're actually on eco. This can confuse them and cause them to make bad decisions.
Common Mistakes and How to Avoid Them
  • Buying Too Much
Spending in a lost round can ruin your team's economy.

  • Not Saving Weapons in Lost Rounds
It's better to save a rifle or AWP than to lose it while trying to win a 1vX.

  • Poor Utility Management
Using all the grenades early can leave your team exposed.
Conclusion
Managing the economy in CS2 is key to achieving success in each match. It is essential to coordinate purchases, manage resources, and adjust strategies based on the game's situations. By perfecting these skills, you can positively influence your matches and help your team maintain a competitive edge.

I think it's going well, before the Zeus gave $0 and since it costs $200 it's fine that for a kill of $100

The zeus needs a buff or give it better money per kill
