Simple HUD Icons, Fixes, and Crosshairs Standalone

Description
Standalone optional tweaks the HUD, weapon icons and names, and brand new unique crosshairs for all weapons. Each module has its own installation, feel free to pick and choose to your liking.

The crosshairs, tweaked smg barrel, and hud icons are all made by me. Feel free to make ports out of these assets, just make sure to give me credit where it's due.

If you have some time, please rate the mod and share your experience!

Made based on my other mod for those of you who want to make the game a bit more difficult without going overboard too much.

Installation

You will need GFCScape to access the addon's content and finish installation; otherwise, most changes will not take effect.

NOTE: This mod needs a couple of file replacements for some of its features to work. I've made a backup to revert changes to any file replacements made in this mod (scroll down for more info).

>Getting it to work:
0. Subscribe to the mod and set it high up in the mod priority list to prevent some of the HUD fixes from being overwritten.
1. Go to Half-Life 2's main directory at steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2. There should be a folder called "custom." If this folder does not exist, create it.
2. Create a new folder within the "custom" folder and name it whatever you want. This is where you will unpack the contents of the mod.
3. Navigate to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\220\3379521961.
If you have Half-Life 2 installed on another drive, look for the steam workshop folder there.
4. Open workshop_dir.vpk with GCFScape and drag all its contents into the folder you just created within the custom folder.

>To ensure that all the weapon crosshairs work [Warning: Requires Overwrite]:
1. Go to Additional the Installation\Truncated VPK folder within this mod and copy the hl2_complete folder.
2. Navigate to steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2_complete and paste the file there. This will remove all of the weapon scripts located in hl2_complete that tend to overwrite mod changes; affected weapons include RPG, smg1, and crossbow.
(credits to @Guicool for bringing up this issue and user @thatmoodyguy for serving as the inspiration for this solution)

At this point, your crosshairs should work, as well as the improved weapon icons. You can disable the crosshairs by deleting weapon name files in the scripts folder for the mod and the grenade texture fix by removing the materials\models folder.

>(Optional) To install the Custom HUD Icons [Warning: Requires Overwrite]:
1. Go to Additional the Installation\Install Custom HUD in this mod and copy the hl2 folder.
2. Navigate to steamapps\common\Half-Life 2 and paste the contents you copied; overwrite when prompted.
3. Access the scripts\Activate HUD within this mod and drag hudlayout.res outside into the scripts folder.

>(Optional) To install the custom Weapon Names [Warning: Requires Overwrite]:
1. Go to Additional the Installation\Install Weapon Custom Names in this mod and copy all of the folders inside (hl2, episodic, etc.).
2. Navigate steamapps\common\Half-Life 2 and paste the contents you copied, overwriting when prompted.

>(Optional) To activate/change the Walk keybind and Gravity:
1. Go to cfg\Activate Extra Binds in this mod and drag the .cfg file into the cfg folder. Feel free to edit this file to your liking; walking uses ALT by default.

Backup
>To revert changes that replace the original files:
1. Go to the Additional Installation\Backup folders and copy the folders inside. I recommend keeping the VPK Weapon Script Fix since it also solves problems for other mods.
2. Navigate to steamapps\Half-Life 2 and paste the copied files here. These will restore the original files for the HUD letters and weapon names.
NOTE: Revert the HUD installation and the HUD is messed up, make sure to also delete hudlayout.res from the scripts folder in the mod.

You are done! Enjoy!

Features

Visuals
-Added unique crosshairs for all weapons inspired by games like Black Mesa, RTBR, and MMod.
-Disabled the "directional" crosshair for the airboat.
-Adjusted icons for the smg (larger grenade barrel) and crossbow (ported from the episode icons).
-Fixed vanilla grenade texture, which originally said M-83 (smoke grenade) instead of MK3A2 (explosive grenade).
-Added optional custom weapon names in the weapon select HUD, inspired by Rising the Bar: Redux.
-Added optional Health and Suit HUD icons inspired by Half-Life 2: MMod and a more visible default crosshair.
-Made adjustments to the console HUD to make the icons fit if using the optional HUD changes.

Miscellaneous
-Added extended music for the Lighthouse Point fight, Nova Prospekt beach assault, plaza defense, final strider battle, and citadel ascent.
-Added an optional script to bind the ALT key to slow down movement. Holding ALT should finally slow down movement noticeably.
-Added an optional script to the change the gravity from 800 to 600. This translates to a slightly floatier jump.

@BoxOfCox Yes, I've just pushed an update that makes the HUD and gameplay changes optional. Make sure to restore the original files with the backup (except for the VPK fix) and to re-install a fresh copy of the mod. To undo the Weapon Icons, just delete HalfLife2.ttf in the resource folder since it is no longer essential now that the HUD is optional.

@SJTHEGAMER I've seen a lot of people have a lot of trouble getting the icons to work, but I have not been able to replicate this myself. I wish I knew what caused this in order to fix it somehow.

@Shyborg @Hat Hey, just pushed an update to make the HUD and most other features optional instead of being ON by default, hopefully that helps.

If you dont want the lower gravity open simplehudbinds.cfg and delete the "slightly floatier jump" part, you can also get rid of the alt walk here too, no idea why they decided to add this to a hud mod its completely irrelevant

I wish this actually worked for me

can you make a seperate mod that only changes the crosshairs?

@Spillow-C This happens if you throw the contents of the mod directly into the custom folder. You have to make a folder WITHIN the custom folder and then throw the contents of the mod there.

@adidores1054 Sorry, but I have no idea how to do that.
