Part 1 - The Trial
Introduction
The Trial of Chaos is a Rogue-Like mode used for class ascension. It does not have any resources that are used between attempts, and consists of several challenges in sequence with various debuffs that are accumulated throughout the rooms. The first challenge requires the completion of 5 of 10 rooms, but when used as a farm it is possible to go up to 10 rooms for greater rewards. Death causes loss of the entire challenge.

Chaos
Each room begins with a choice, 3 options are given to the player to choose which one they want to face. Debuffs occur in 3 ways:
  • Player: It causes harm to the player as a direct debuff. Potion charges not recovering when killing monsters or attribute reduction are some examples.
  • Monsters: Monsters receive benefits as an indirect debuff. Monsters always crit or always cause poisoning are some examples.
  • Map: Map effects that only harm the player are indirect debuffs. Areas that cause CC or damage are some examples.
It is important to realize that the same choice can be made repeatedly if it has stronger levels, which can be very harmful to the player, or be the best choice because it is not something that harms them. An example of this are area effects that can become larger or more recurrent as they are chosen several times.

Rewards
Each room has a definitive reward upon completion, and this reward is informed before choosing the chaos. These rewards are often rare items with unique special properties, or rarer crafting items. The level of the room influences this reward as well, usually bringing rarer and stronger prizes as the room's level increases, remembering that they are cumulative.

Mechanics
Currently the rooms were found between:
  • Boss: Kill the boss. Currently a Dragon that acts with the 3 elements, usually fire for the top of the room, ice for the middle and lightning for the bottom. Or a vulture that summons minions and following spells.
  • Survive: Simply kill enemies until time runs out.
  • Hunt: Kill all enemies on the map.
  • Escort: Follow the Totem to the end of the path while staying alive, the totem does not need to be constantly moving. This one usually only gets difficult if many map effects are chosen in Chaos.
  • Activation: Crystals are scattered around the map and you need to recover them to continue. The catch the crystal causes damage while it is being carryed Be careful when placing the crystal in its place, as there is an animation and you become vulnerable.
Part 2 - Tips
  • Try to understand what is important for your build, this will help you choose the best options for completion.
  • CC effects are harmful to Glass Cannon characters.
  • Absolute effects and charges are harmful to Tank characters.
  • Effects that reduce area are usually good for Melee characters.
  • Effects that give damage or properties to enemy attacks are usually good for Glass Cannon.
