Made for the Map Labs competition "Eye Candy" in late April of 2020. Was designed to be a little walking simulator through various different pretty environments.

A lot of these locations took inspiration from various media sources. The main hub area was inspiried by the Grand Floridian Resort in Walt Disney World, the town was inspired by Back to the Future (and a little bit of main street from WDW), the bar was inspired by a similar bar that appears in Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut", and the swamp was inspired by the bayou scene in Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean.

I see, it didn't occur to me that it might be HDR-only. That did the trick.

A nice little map to explore. I liked the bar, it was a cozy place I could see myself sitting down in to look at the lights and listen to some music.

Every time I run this map, mat_fullbright is forced on and I can't turn it off. Not sure if it's something on my end or with the map.
