In this part of this guide I will go over how to sell speciality items that will net you 150+ plat per sale these methods are geared towards players that have just reached the end game level (If warframe even has that XD) mostly players who have been playing for about solid 2 months. Be warned though many of the ways I am about to tell you to earn plat with are highly time consuming but if you are prepared to take the time and put in the effort you will have about 2,000 plat by about this time next month or sooner if you have the charisma and dedication to stick with it.
(Prices in the guide are not the be all end all this how I price my items if you could make a white spotted kubrow or power throw go for 10000000p then go for it you are the seller not me these are just suggestions for getting you started. At the end of the day you are the one typing down WTS X for Yp the decision is yours own not mine.)

One of a kind mods(event mods and Syndicate)
Now event mods are mods that come from(you guessed it events) and usually have status up to one damage type these are extremely rare mods that only drop once per account during events so as you can image these sell for a lot by themselves but sets can sell for ludicrous prices. Certain ones can sell for 400p-500p as a set and 150p alone and unranked. Listed Here.

High Roller(400p-500p set single 150p)

Operation Gate Crash:
Buzz Kill, Fanged Fusillade, Sweeping Serration, Maim

Operation False Profit:
Collision Force, Pummel, Crash Course,Full Contact

Low Rider(100p-200p set single 50p)

Tethra's Doom set(Trader currently has them in his item pool):
Jolt,Shell Shock,High Voltage,Voltaic Strike

Breeding Grounds(50p set 20p single):
Thermite Rounds, Scattering Inferno, Scorch,Volcanic Edge

Operation Cryotic Front(50p set 20p single):
Vicious Frost, Frostbite, Rime Rounds, Frigid Blast

Worthless(15p set single 5p if you are lucky)

Cicero Crisis mod set(void vor drops these):
Malignant Force, Toxic Barrage, Virulent Scourge, Pistol Pestilence

But wait a second dragon I want those mods too so how do I keep said mods for myself and turn a profit? Well that is true you do lose these awesome mods but with the 100p+ you will probably find some sucker willing to give it away cheap like say 150p or 200p for the higher tier mods. Then you can sell it for x2 the profit. Remember kids first rule of trading buy low sell high that's the name of the game when it comes to this category of mods. Which brings me to Syndicate mods.

Unlike event mods you could potentially have 4 copies of these mods to sell every week. What makes these mods so desirable is the fact that one they are hard to get due to how time consuming it is and two depending on the factions you decide to work for some are near impossible for you to obtain. It is for those reasons these mods can go very quickly on the market. The top tier one go for 20p while low tier can go for 10p. Although it may take some time once you're at the faction rank needed to buy these mods and have good place to farm standing(detailed later in this guide) you can make some really quick plat and a steady income of plat. Mods are ranked as followed(These mods are ranked based off of demand not how useful they are)

I sell you doges You give me money(Kubrow breeding)
Kubrows are just walking piles of cash not only their mods but their spawn too. Once fully grown a Kubrow can have its gene's copied through the use of imprints. This is where the plat making happens because guess how much one set of kubrow imprints can sell for go on guess. TWO THOUSAND PLATINUM BABY WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Be aware though only two imprints per Kubrow can be made. On top of that only certain combinations of color, coats, body types, heights, and breeds of kubrows lead to these crazy prices. Realistically you can make about 50p-200p on most Kubrows and 300p-600p if Rng blesses you. Since you can't really price a kubrow I have listed all the known traits of kubrows and looked through successful sales of kubrows at high prices and low prices to determine general price on each trait. To get the maximum price of your kubrow simply add up the highest number in each matching category to get the lowest price divide the max by two. One more thing DO NOT USE THE TRADE CHANNEL TO SALE KUBROWS. This is because a lot of people in trade channel are not willing to pay that much for kubrow imprints and you lose out on plat this way. Therefore Kubrow sales work much better on the forums as they are willing to pay more generally and later in the guide I will show you how to format selling pages for them and Items.

They're there for a reason use them(selling on the forums)
Now lets say you followed my first guide went to the trading channel and have been getting sales. But you realize you are lazy and hate having to type in all of the items you want to sell to potential suckers...I mean buyers. You have to have said there has got to be a better way than sitting for 2 hours in the trade channel to make plat. Well there is a much faster, cleaner, and time efficient solution that allows you to actually play warframe while you wait for the offers to roll in. It's a place called the Warframe forums.

Now The Warframes Forums is one of if not the best way to trade for plat. This because one unlike the trade channel you don't have to be sitting your ship conestly retyping WTS blah blah blah because you can just leave a shop post up and wait for the in game messages to pour in allowing you to hunt for more mods and parts to sell. Two you can get higher prices on items through bidding wars for that part nearly getting double the original price. Three you can sell Kubrow imprints effectively here and maximize their prices through bidding wars. Basicly the trading post section of the forums is like the ebay of warframe.

Even better sometimes you can find prime parts for cheaper then they are worth on the trade channel on the forums. Which in turn can sell for nearly double their price and allow profit on the trade channel or forums. I would suggest after buying something from the forums cheap like say the mod bite not to post it to sell on the forums for a few days. This because sometimes your seller might see the post and feel like he/she got scammed(which they did) and proceed to try to drive the price down of the item to get back at you. I personally had this happen to me a once or twice after I bought a cheap part and then immediately tried to sell it.

Their is a proper way to setup your post so they get more attention and they are as follow.
Note: include prices by each item.

Seducing your buyer(How to get steady custmoers)
Something that is very important to any plat trader is a steady flow of customers. Most of the time you will find your buyer, chat about prices, make the exchange, and never talk again. This can lead to many problems for you such as having to wait for new buyers to pop up and not having people who want your stuff. Fear not though there is a solution to this problem one that is very simple. Make them like you. Simply put while trading don't just spit out names of items and their prices try to talk to your customer. Try to have a personality while trading with someone whether it be something like a king or acting like the corpus entertain your buyers. Nobody wants to talk to someone boring and that won't keep them around for long. When in their dojo compliment their dojo or their warframe color choices. Even if it looks terrible remember this to have a source of steady income so make them feel important and special. Act friendly and nice during the entire time then once the trade is over try to friend them.

Alot of times I like to setup deals with the people I friend to trade with such as selling void keys at set time intervals. Usually I have them place an order like lets say they want 10 t4 survivals by Friday I price each one at about 7p per key so by Friday I have 70p and I can repeat this on the same person per week that's about 350p per month or with multiple people even more. Usually while selling like this I keep prices low so people buy more keys hence more plat. Sometimes I do the same thing with mods and prime parts. I set a price they set a time I give them that part by that time. I give them a deal like if I don't have x part around this time you get for 5p less per day I don't give it to you. This will keep them from buying from other people because in their minds they are getting a good deal. This is a very good solution to make plat if you're having trouble with getting your prime parts and mods to sell. As someone will always want void keys or a cheaper prime part.
Is my X Worth This(Gauging Prices in General)
I get a few messages each month and comments on my last guide asking what x part is worth or do think I they should sell this for this much. While I don't mind getting these messages all that much it makes me feels like left out something important out of my first guide. That is how to determine prices generally.

Now how I get the prices I use in my guides is I will sit in my ship for a few minutes for normal trading(Usually 2-3 minutes) and about an hour for guide material and look at what everyone is selling on the trade channel. I try to pick out the most commonly appearing items for sale and realize the market is flooded with these parts so they would sell for a lot less then other prime parts so I don't try to farm for these parts other than for ducts. Then I look for the least common parts and mods for sale and take note of what the name is and what price the person was asking for it. I then go to the wiki see how to get and then head to the forums. There I type in the item's name in the trading section then look through a few posts to get the general price range then I go farm that part.

Generally warframe economy follows the real world economy rule of supply and demand. This rule states basically that the less of something is available and the demand is high will make the price will be high. While if the availability of something is high and the demand is low then the price will be low. In the sense of warframe this means that the newer mods and primes are generally worth more than their older counterparts. For example a nyx prime is worth more than a rhino prime. This is because nyx is a newer prime so her parts still have yet flooded the market while rhino prime is older so a lot players have his parts. This can even be seen with the parts that are harder to get. A rhino prime chassis is worth 15p-30p at most while nyx's systems is worth 60p-80p. Prime parts usually reach over their maximum price on release day and keep it for about a week after. Then the gold rush fever will selt down and prices will take dive and level out at about 70p-110p until the next prime access. So the best time to sell prime parts is in the first week of release.

Mods follow the same set of rules as prime parts. They are the most expensive around release date and their price gradually drops off over the time since release. Mods do have a few exceptions though. Mods such as Serration,Redirection, and Vitality are used in many warframe builds so their prices will stay the same throughout the rest of warframe's existence because they are needed to get the most out of warframes and weapons. While something like lightning rod is worth nothing because it is useless. Try to look for the mods used in popular builds and farm for those rarer mods in the bulid if you are looking for mods to sell. Then follow the steps in the first part get a price.

That is the basic strategies I use to gauge prices for items before I sell them.
Taking your ♥♥♥♥ international(Reigion jumping)(WIP)
You want know something the american trade market is garbage no one wants to buy your items and nobody wants to buy only sell to you. The prices are outrageously high and the market is so flooded with WTS that nobody see what you are selling. Now there is a way around this issue if you switch your region to different a one you change the whole market and gain different benefits. similar to games like xcom each region has unique advantages to being a part of it. For example europe's trade market is generally much better than america's this because people are more willing to actually buy and sell equally on trade channel. Europe's plat prices are also generally higher than the american ones so people will usually pay more than say american. While in Asia's region prices are generally cheaper than Europe's. Making Asia the best place to buy items and Europe the best to sell. below is a little guide to switching regions.
(Note this something new I learned that I am testing so far it checks out I will add more as I learn about this method)
go to options

click on gameplay

change region to desired location

List of general Region benefits:

America(♥♥♥♥ yeah):
Pros:
Easier to trick people into bad deals
generally more sellers
Cons:
harder to sell to people
people will undervalue your items

Europe:
Pros:
Easier to sell to people
higher sales prices
Cons:
buying from people will be more expensive

Asia:
Pros:
lower sales prices
Cons:
selling to people will get you less plat

That does not matter anymore, most people just buy off the BPs unlike before when selling an entire set means every parts are already made
Ginga254 14 Aug, 2017 @ 3:31pm
So should you always craft the Prime parts youre trying to sell or is selling the blueprint a viable option
RedNovaIgnition  [author] 23 Jul, 2017 @ 6:56am
valkyr prime is worth something try 100p-50p
trinity chassis isn't worth much 30p-10p
again though try to set your own prices and get a buyer that is willing to pay what you want them to huggling is the key to getting a decent sale
irish wristwatch 20 Jul, 2017 @ 11:35am
Yo. I got a valkyr prime blueprint and a trinity prime chassis blueprint. Can you tell me how much they're worth without being crafted/been crafted?

Nobody buys shit unless it's brand new released prime crap now days, lol.
Selling things in bulk for 1 ~ 4P to ducat traders are the easiest way to make plat now.
Fidel Jr 7 Aug, 2015 @ 10:13am
nobody buys anything anymore they just spam trade chat with their paragraphs of the same shit over and over again until you get one message 10 minutes later with a dank scam offer. this game needs a trading post for players or something

I think you forgot one disadvantage for Europe, and that is that some of them don't speak english. Definietly see what you say about people on europe wanted to buy things more. Pretty interesting, I wonder what causes it exactly. I was looking at it today and there were a lot of people wanted to buy the prisma veritux while the void trader was still selling it. Also took me like a week of posting a few times a day in trade chat and didn't sell my prisma grakata and first or second time I post in the europe trade chat I get a buyer.
