To get to more advanced tequnices we first need to go over the basics

To backflip (I will from now on abreviate it with bkf) you need to look at the ground, jump and pres the opposite direction of where you're looking. You need to be holding jump while you press left or right to triger a bkf.

The window in witch you can bkf is from when you press jump to around the peak of your jump
By bkf at the peak of your jump you can get really good distance and height!

bkf can give lots of utility on there own

Here is a list of some of the basic uses of bkf-s

-You can use the bkf at the peak of the jump to cross gaps and get high fruit
-You can bkf to scale a slanted wall by turning your back to the wall and bkf-ing during coyote time
-You can do bkf-s in a row to get lots of speed
-You can boost your bkf by jumping off something during the bkf (but we'll get more on that in the next title)

The most important skill to learn.

bkf boosting is a simple, yet dificult skill to learn. You just need to have something (your items, the ground or a turrets bomb) push you in the first half of your bkf

This sends you flying across the map, geting you to where ever you want with enough practise

For ex. you can take pomegranate and shoot it at your feet just before you complete a bkf (holding s and j, press k and then quickly a or d depending where you are facing)

An easier one whould be boosting with the jump of a frog or an explosion of a bomb, there you just have to time your bkf with they're push (you can even control how you get launched by when you get launched, the sooner, the higher, and the later the further)

Launching with the ground, fish or turret bomb are also possible, but harder
With the ground you have to have exeptional precision and timing
For the fish you have to spam in the little window of time you have before the bkf
And for the turret bomb you always risk dying on it
