Your armor is displayed as a blue line with multiple sections.
When you take armor damage you see a red flashing line, this is the last chance for your lost armor to restore itself if you evade receiving more damage;

When your armor section is depleted it is destroyed permanently (without an armor bag);

Light armor gives you 4 downs, Medium armor 3, Heavy 2;

Fall Damage, Gas Grenades and Cloakers deal damage to health, regardless of armor;
Environment Explosions deal 50/50% damage on armor and health simultaneously;
