The Talisman Guilds: Chapter 2 - The Nether Counsil

I could not find a proper walkthrough for this chapter or any proper answers under forums. Through a combination of trial and error and with some help from Microsoft Co-Pilot that gave me half an answer, but enough to steer me in the right direction, I was able to finish all 6 main tasks in this chapter. Not going to focus on the 6 challenges but only on getting the 6 main tasks done to progress the story.

Basic strategy
The 6th task is the most challenging one. You need to start preparing for it from the beginning. That task will be discussed later and It involves attacking the Celestial with a Spirit. In order to do so there must be Spirits on the board. Thus try and level your character up and gather resources, but try to not increase your craft skill. Whenever you have to fight a Spirit try and lose to it, even if you have to re-roll to lose to it. It will remain behind on the board. You will need to destroy the Celestial with a Spirit that is strong enough that is on the board. The Celestial will also level up it's craft, but if you can attack it early with a relatively weak Spirit you may destroy it. While you are losing on purpose against Spirits, make sure to not lose all your lives and try to increase your lives as well. As the Celestial will move all over the board, try and have Spirits on the various boards so that you have options to attack it with Spirits. As it will level up if you muck about too long it may become to strong to be defeated by a Spirit. When you have enough Spirits spread over the boards then you can level up your craft. Be sure not to attack any Spirits on the board. When you are strong enough go to the Treasure Chamber in the Dungeon. If you can defeat the Lord of Darkness there are very handy card rewards. The best one to get would be the Clockwork Owl card that allows you to move more specifically to where you want to go. This is important as it will allow you to land on a Spirit in order to attack the Celestial. I.e if you roll a 6, but a spirit is 3 spaces away the Owl will allow you to go to any block that is within 6 spaces. This is also very handy to move to places like the Graveyard where you can recover all your fate. Be sure not to use any Desolation spells that you pick up as you will need one to destroy the Chapel when instructed to do so.
Task 1: Fairy Tale - Search any woods space
This is very easy. When you make a roll that can take you to any of the woods, go there. You will always draw a Fairy card there. Task is completed.
Task 2: Goblin Sapper - Find a Goblin Sapper and use it to remove the Fairy from the board
The Goblin Sapper is hidden at random on the board. You will just need to move around at random to find it. You will need to have 1 gold coin to make use of it's services. If you don't you will need to come back to it. If you have the money you can use it immediately to complete this task. After choosing the "Pay 1 Gold" option, many blocks will glow. Choose the block with the Fairy on it and click on continue. You will then be asked "Choose a card to destroy". Click on the Fairy and click on continue. The task has now been completed.
Task 3: Weaklings - Go to the Highlands and defeat a Hatchling
The hatchling is hidden at random in that area. Go to that area and move around randomly till you find it. Attack and kill it and then the task is done.
Task 4: Faithful Companion - Find a faithful hound in the dungeon and lose it in battle
Go to the dungeon. The hound is hidden at random and once you find it take it as a follower. Then in your next battle choose that the hound fights on your behalf. If it loses the task is completed.
Task 5: Deconstruction - Use the Desolation Spell on the Chapel space
Make sure you have the Desolation Spell. If you don't have it go to spaces on the board that grants spells. Make sure your spell slots are not filled to the maximum as you won't be able to draw new spells. When you have the spell you can go destroy the Chapel. Before you do that make sure you have enough Spirits on the board. If not before you destroy the Chapel try and get more Spirits on the board first. Having the Clockwork Owl will also help a lot. When you are ready make sure you are in the area on the board where the Chapel is and click on spells and then click on the Desolation Spell. All blocks on that area of the board will now be highlited. Click on the Chapel and then on continue. You can now choose a desert or ruins. Click on continue. The task is now completed.
Task 6: Good vs. Evil - Defeat the Celestial by sending Spirits to him
Do not attack the Spirit. If you kill the Spirit yourself the task and quest cannot be completed. Make sure you are always on the same board (or part of the board, as is the case with the main board) as the Celestial. If the Celestial goes to the Highlands follow him there. When it is your turn and the Celestial is on the same board go to any Spirit on the board, but preferably a Spirit with a high Craft score. Encounter that Spirit as you would when you go into combat. You will be presented with two options: Encounter and Send Spirit. Choose Send Spirit. The battle will then start between the two and you cannot interfere. If the Spirit wins then the task and Chapter 2 are complete.
