Description
What I did;
While working on the head model taken from Black Mesa: Blue Shift, I noticed a background leak behind the eyes. I reinforced the mesh and fixed the issue.
I kept the original shape keys and animations intact.
To improve the original face texture and achieve a more realistic look, I used a combination of AI-based tools and Adobe Photoshop.
I also replaced the original glasses with a newly assembled version and made the lenses more transparent.
(Note: The head model was sourced from Black Mesa: Blue Shift, a fan-made remake. Used in fan artwork for non-commercial purposes only.)

being a VA nowadays must be tough ai really started putting some creative jobs at risk. I really hope things evolve in a better direction.
and Jofoyo! Of course, the one who made Mark 3! i remember really liking that model when i first saw it about a year ago. At the time, it felt like the missing piece for my animation project.
Shhh! just between us :)), i actually prefer his older Mark 3. It gives off this cool 'early hev suit' vibe, like a prototype version of the Mark 4. That nostalgic Lambda logo was honestly the part that drew me in the most. But still, the new helmet and realistic textures are top-notch!

oh i'm just a VA and writer. Credit all goes to the rest of the team! Very talented people. Rosenberg, for example, was made by Jofoyo. He's great at making character heads.

Ohh thank god :laughing_yeti: huh!
maan, for a second there, i thought you were gonna ask me where your easter egg went :)) by the way, you guys are doing an amazing job. The atmosphere and overall detail in the Xen section from the last part were absolutely stunning. wow!:crtamazed:

It's an inside joke amongst the devs. And that's completely fine! :) You can find a couple of easter eggs on various bmbs textures if you look hard enough

Hmm! yes, while working on the texture using ai and phtshp to enhance realism, i did notice that easter egg on the neck. i’m guessing it might be yours :)
i didn’t plan to make any major changes to rosenberg’s facial texture,, just aimed to enhance the overall realism a bit.
You know, these bms meshes are usually low-poly for performance.. Sometimes the detail is achieved by increasing polygon count through additional mesh geometry, and other times by using texture-based shading tricks. For this model, i chose to focus more on texture adjustments,, you could call it a mini compilation.
But if that bothers you or you’d rather it not be used, feel free to say,, i totally get it, no hard feelings.

hecu collective is enough :) no need to get specifics. Oh! Here's a secret for you. Go look at rosenberg's face texture and look at the neck....

@UnstoppableGiant upss! :) sorry about that,, you're right. I usually mention what i've done, but this time it was left in the update notes. Not exactly a proper credit, but i did share some info. I'm trying to improve myself little by little. I don’t know who exactly modeled the head,, I guess in group projects like this, it’s usually credited to the whole team rather than individuals, right? I’ll try to write a proper credit now. If i get anything wrong, I’m open to learning!:steamthumbsup:
