Description

Adds a new trait, Expert Driver, that allows you to toggle the Speed Demon trait on and off using a convenient button on the dashboard.

Sandbox options can be set to allow everyone to toggle speed demon on and off without needing Expert Driver.

FAQ

Can this mod be added/removed to an existing save?

Yes, but when removing it be sure to set Speed Demon to the desired status first.

Is this mod compatible with <other mod>

Probably. The way this mod works means it shouldn't conflict with anything unless another mod adds a feature to the same place on the dashboard.

Why are you adding/removing a character trait instead of modifying the vehicle properties?

Because the vehicle code is in the java part of game, which is not easy to modify.

Can you allow the trait cost to be set in sandbox options?

No, because I can't figure out how to make the change between sandbox variables becoming available and the trait list being presented to the user.

Even with the Expert Driver trait, clicking the button does not cause any changes.

@ExtravagantBun That would be a safety hazard! But also something I'll add to my list of mod ideas.

@DragieUltra I'm not familiar with that mod, but you need to have the expert driver trait (not speed demon) or enable the sandbox option that lets anyone use the feature without needing a trait.

Does it work if one buys the speed demon trait in the trait buying mod and not select it from the character build menu? (cuz it didn't work for me after buying the trait might be some other mod conflict too who knoz)

Wish one of your great car mods included the ability to disable the reverse beep in certain large vehicles.

It's compatible with TPMS (you can see both in the mod's poster image)

The only conflict would be if another mod added something to the same part of the dashboard.
