The achievement "What a technique!" is undoubtedly the most challenging achievement in the game, and unlocking it through the standard method will be much more difficult and time-consuming.

During my journey to platinum Sea of Stars, I discovered a much faster and more efficient method to unlock it, taking less than 2 hours.

What a Technique!
Defeat 10 bosses with the Ingenious Gambit relic active.
Missable Achievement: No

After speaking with Serai at the camp or on the Vespertine, go to her world. Enter the Cerulean Expanse and follow the path Northeast -> Southeast -> Northeast -> East.

EFFECTS

• -95% HP (including equipped items)
  
• Enemies become invincible while casting
  
• Timed blocks reduce damage to 1
  
• Timed hits gain a 2x damage bonus

The achievement "What a Technique!" became much easier to unlock after the Dawn of Equinox update, released at the end of 2024. With this update, it's now possible to skip the game's prologue, which includes all the training at Zenith Academy.

Simply follow the instructions below:

• Start a NG+ using your main save (the Artful Gambit Relic is required).
  
  
  
  
• Select the "Story" difficulty.
  
  
  
  
• Skip the prologue as soon as you leave the cave with Garl (it will appear as a floating scroll).
  
  
  
  
• Progress until you reach the first campfire (6min).
  
  
  
  
• Activate the ARTFUL GAMBIT RELIC and rest at the campfire.
  
  
  
  
• Defeat the boss and return to the campfire.
  
  
  
  
• Save the game in a slot different from your main one.
  
  
  
  
• Return to the menu and start a new NG+ using the save you just created.
  
  
  
  
• Repeat the process 10x until the achievement unlocks.

NOTE: Unfortunately, it is not possible to create a save before defeating the boss because the game tracks bosses by SAVE. Therefore, you must follow all the steps exactly as outlined, without skipping any of them.

During my research, I came across some "guides" that offered saves with the achievement already unlocked, which goes strictly against the rules of the Global Achievement Hunting Community[achievementhunting.com].
